Revised: Based on Building manager feedback, we have rescheduled this shutdown for Monday, July 24th
The steam will be shut down in Sackett Hall, Austin Hall and Learning Innovation Center on July 24th, 6:00 am – 1:00 pm to inspect steam and condensate leaks. This will affect all steam services, includes heat & hot water building wide.
What do you need to do to prepare for this outage? Please make sure that all computers, printers, copiers and other electronic devices are turned off prior to Saturday, July 15. If you have an Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS), also known as a battery back-up, please be sure to turn it off as well.
Employees scheduled to work when buildings are without power should consult with their supervisors regarding work schedules. For more information regarding work scheduling, please refer to the instructions regarding Interruptions of University Operations.

The intersection at 26th St. and Orchard Avenue will be closed to vehicle traffic, but the crosswalk and the west sidewalk along 26th St. will remain open for pedestrians. Drivers should expect to see flaggers in the area.
The 26th St. entrance to the Park Terrace St. West lot (A2) near the Ocean Administration Building will be closed, but the parking lot will remain accessible from SW Park Terrace Place.
Other possible impacts include noise near the work site.
