As part of the Community Hall Slope Project, excavation and storm pipe installation work is scheduled along the south side of Furman Hall starting Thursday, November 18 through Wednesday, November 24, 2021. A sidewalk closure will be in place. Pedestrians will be able to access Furman Hall via the east entrance.

For questions or comments about this closure, contact Project Manager Lindsey Austin at 541-990-7720 or Construction Manager Ryan Wilson at 503-779-3488.

As part of the Community Hall Slope Project, tree removal work in the project area is scheduled to start on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 through Friday, September 3, 2021. Additional work associated with the project is scheduled to continue on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, starting at the east side of Furman Hall.

Oregon State University began work in early July 2021 to update the area shown in this map image to provide access through this portion of OSU’s Corvallis campus for all people. ADA improvements related to the project will also require reconstruction of building entrances to Gladys Valley, the Pharmacy Building and Joyce Collin Furman Hall. There will be an open entrance to each building at all times.

We will work to accommodate the needs of users working within the project area, but there will be disruptions to many day-to-day activities. If you have specific concerns regarding this project and how it may impact you or your work, please contact with Project Manager Lindsey Austin at 541-990-7720, to work through any issues.
