The industrial cold water will be shut down in Wiegand Hall September 22, 2026 from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm to tie in new waterlines to the existing system. This will affect the industrial water in labs and equipment attached to the industrial water. This will not affect restrooms.

Local traffic can access buildings from either the north or south of the bridge depending on location of the building. The road will be closed at the bridge. Sidewalk on the south bound lane of bridge will be closed.

Due to a steam leak in the tunnels the sidewalk between Richardson and Dryden will be closed for access (see map) beginning Wednesday, August 20, 2026 to TBD. Sidewalk along 30th Street is still accessible. A second notice will be sent out when the sidewalk is reopened.

Due to contractor work being performed between Kelley Engineering Center and Plageman Hall the red marked sidewalk areas will be closed for access (see map) beginning Thursday, August 27, 2026 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Pedestrian access out of Kelly north entrance will remain accessible. Contractor to provide access path for HCIC workers to south gate unless lift is being used. HCIC workers will wear standard PPE. This work will also include intermittent noise throughout the closure.
