Emergency Shutdown Notice – The Chiller that services The Valley Library & a portion of Snell Hall ) will be shut down for emergency repairs July 15, 7:00 am – July 20, 2026 3:00 pm . This will affect cooling building wide in The Valley Library and partially in Snell Hall. If cooling is restored earlier than expected than an additional notice will be sent out.

Due to the chiller integration building controls project the chiller that services Kidder Hall will be shut down July 8, 6:00 am – July 9, 2026 4:00 pm. This will affect cooling building wide.

The RO/DI water system will be shut down in Weniger Hall July 14, 2026 from 6:00 am to 5:00 pm July 15, 2026 to remove and replace the RO skid. This will not affect the main water supply to the building just labs with RO/DI systems.

The process water loop will be shut down in Nash Hall June 16, 2026 from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm to allow a contractor to add cleaner to the loop in preparations for repairs. This may cause some small temperature changes with coolers and freezers.

The industrial and domestic water will be shut down in Dearborn Hall April 25, 2026 from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm to replace bad sections of hot water piping. This will affect the industrial and domestic hot water in labs and equipment attached to the industrial water. This will not affect restrooms.
