4/2026 & 5/2026: Campus Wide Generator Testing

Facilities Services will be performing annual load bank testing for the below listed building emergency/ stand-by generators.  Each test will take approximately 3 hours. There may be excessive noise and possible exhaust fume odors associated with testing.  Each generator will be refueled after testing.

4/25/26: Industrial Water Shutdown in Dearborn Hall 7:00 am – 5:00 pm

The industrial and domestic water will be shut down in Dearborn Hall April 25, 2026 from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm to replace bad sections of hot water piping. This will affect the industrial and domestic hot water in labs and equipment attached to the industrial water. This will not affect restrooms.

4/15/26: Sidewalk Closure Memorial Union Quad North Side 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Due to contractor tree work being performed on the north side of the Memorial Union Quad the red marked sidewalks will be closed for access (see map) beginning Wednesday, April 15, 2026 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The green line on the map indicates adjusted path of travel. There will be intermittent loud noise to chip brush.

Due to contractor irrigation and shrub landscape renovation work being performed on the west and north sides of Bexell Hall the red marked sidewalks will be closed for access (see map) beginning Monday, March 23 thru Friday, March 27, 2026  from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. The green line on the map indicates the travel route around the closure.

3/12/26: Ag. Life & Sciences Supply Fans Shutdown 6:30 am- 10:00 am

The building air fans will be shut down one at a time to perform preventive maintenance and change air filters in Ag. Life & Sciences March 12, 2026 6:30 am – 10:00 am. Building occupants may notice slight pressure & air flow changes throughout the building.
