Due to contractor work being performed between Kelley Engineering Center and Plageman Hall the red marked sidewalk areas will be closed for access (see map) beginning Thursday, August 27, 2026 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Pedestrian access out of Kelly north entrance will remain accessible. Contractor to provide access path for HCIC workers to south gate unless lift is being used. HCIC workers will wear standard PPE. This work will also include intermittent noise throughout the closure.

Campus Way intersection will remain open. Sidewalks will remain open in the area but will be temporarily closed when work is being performed directly above.

Linus Pauling Science Center building exhaust fans will be shut down August 19, 2026 7:00 am -5:00 pm to replace several failed fan motors. Building occupants may notice some air pressure fluctuations while work is being performed. Fume hoods should not be used during this time due to decreased air flow and sashes should remain down until EH&S verifies proper operation and removes signage.

The building air fans will be shut down one at a time to perform preventive maintenance and change air filters in Ag. Life & Sciences August 4, 2026 7:00 am – 3:00 pm. Building occupants may notice slight pressure & air flow changes throughout the building.

Emergency Shutdown Notice – The Air Handler Unit and Chiller that services the north side of Pharmacy Building will be shut down immediately for emergency water leak repairs. This will affect building air and cooling on the north side of the building. Our planned restoral date is 8/4/26.
