Washington Way Multi-Use Path « OSU Corvallis Campus Closures, Shutdowns and Detours

As part of the Washington Way Improvement project, the Washington Way multi-use path on the south side of Washington Way will be closed starting Wednesday, April 30 through Saturday, May 31. The mid-block crossing at Goss Stadium will remain open. SW May Way will be closed to vehicle traffic, with the exception of delivery vehicles.

This is an update on the Washington Way Improvement project. Multiple changes are expected to begin on Monday, January 13 and continue for the next several months. Please see below for details and locations, including a new road closure.

Update – road reopening

Washington Way between 30^th – 35^th St. will be reopening to all traffic starting January 13.

Upcoming road closure on Washington Way

1/13 – 2/28: Washington Way closed between 17^th and 26^th St. to allow for new steam line installation.
- The 17^th St. intersection will be closed; vehicles traveling north-south through campus should use 15^th St. as a detour.
- SW Benton Place will remain open.
- May Way closed to through traffic; delivery truck traffic will be permitted.
- Pedestrians – the crosswalk at 17^th St. will be closed; cross Washington Way at 15^th St. or Dixon/Goss driveway crosswalk. Multi-use path (south side) closed from Goss Stadium to 15^th St. Use north sidewalk as a detour.

26^th – 30^th St.: multi-use path closed; sidewalk open.

As part of the Washington Way Improvement project, the multi-use path on the south side of SW Washington Way will be closed between SW 26^th and SW 30^th St. starting Monday, August 19 through Friday, September 20. Pedestrians may use the sidewalk on the north side of Washington Way as a detour. The crosswalks at 26^th and 30^th St. will remain open.

A temporary pedestrian detour will be available along the new pedestrian path located on the north side of Washington Way.
