Pacific Power is scheduling a power outage on August 29th, 2023. Their substation operations team needs to perform routine maintenance on the transformers in the 35th Street Substation. The outage will begin Tuesday morning at 3:00 am with an estimated completion time of 7:00 am.  Please see the list of impacted buildings below.

What do you need to do to prepare for this outage? Please make sure that all computers, printers, copiers, and other electronic devices are turned off prior to August 29th , 2023. If you have an Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS), also known as a battery back-up, please be sure to turn it off as well.

As part of the Motor Pool Canopy Construction Project, a new canopy is being built at the fuel island north of the Motor Pool Building. Fencing will go up around the area, and work will start on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 and continue through Monday, March 29, 2021. Staging will occur in the parking lot west of the Motor Pool Building.

As part of the Motor Pool Canopy Construction project, drilling and geotechnical boring work will occur to investigate soils adjacent to the Motor Pool Canopy located on SW Campus Way. There could be some restrictions to access to the fuel island at the Motor Pool. One side of the fuel island should still be accessible for careful fueling.
