7/11/22: Hallie E. Ford Center – Limited Cooling
Due to a mechanical failure the chiller that provides cooling to the Hallie E. Ford Center will have decreased cooling capacity. Building occupants may notice warmer than normal air temperatures in the building. A restoral date is unknown at this time due to parts availability.

6/24/22 – Until Further Notice: Crop Science Building Emergency Chiller Shutdown
Due to a mechanical failure, the chiller that provides cooling to Crop Science is being shut down. Building occupants will notice warmer than normal air temperatures in the building. 10/26/2021: Owen Hall primary chiller shutdown
As part of the Owen Hall chiller replacement, the chiller manufacturer will be installing additional equipment that will require the chiller to be shutdown. This will only impact comfort cooling. The secondary chiller will continue to support the labs. The primary chiller shutdown is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, October 26, 2021.

10/25-10/29/2021: North campus chilled water loop work
As part of the North District Utility Plant (NDUP) and Cordley Hall Renewal projects, crews will be performing additional chiller start up procedures on three new chillers within the NDUP. Functional testing will again include integration with the existing chilled water loop beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, October 25 through 5 p.m. on Friday, October 29, 2021. Ag Life Sciences, Nash Hall, Cordley Hall, Wilkinson Hall and the Burt Complex could see chilled water flow and temperature fluctuations as a result of the testing procedures.

Update-9/23/21: Emergency Shutdown: Kerr Administration Bldg. Chiller
Update: Friday September 24, 2021 temperatures are expected to climb into the mid 80’s. Due to shipping delays, Facilities has been unable to obtain the parts necessary to make the final repairs. Therefore, at this time we will not be able to hold comfortable temperatures in the building. Please plan accordingly.
This shutdown will not affect the server room.

11/5-11/7/2020: Magruder Hall chiller 4 shutdown
As part of the Magruder Hall Renovation and Addition, chiller 4 at Magruder Hall is scheduled to be shut down for wiring work (view map). The shutdown is scheduled to start on Thursday, Nov. 5 through Saturday, Nov. 7, 2020. The chiller will be off for a total of three days. The main panel will be turned off and a planned electrical shutdown for the building will occur for approximately two hours on Saturday, Nov. 7.
