12/18-12/19: Scheduled: Fire Alarm & Sprinkler Testing

Convergint will be conducting annual fire alarm & sprinkler testing.  Testing will take place in the buildings listed below.  The testing will be brief and include both sounding of alarms and strobes. As part of the testing building occupants may notice occasional beeping coming from the fire panel and horns and strobe lights activating throughout the building.  Signage will be posted on exterior doors while testing is being conducted.

December 18th

  • Milne Computer Center (device testing only)
  • The Valley Library (elevator only)
  • Covell/Batcheller Hall (sound & sprinkler testing)

December 19th

  • Valley Football Center (Device testing)
  • Reser Stadium (Device testing)

10/31/23: Fire Alarm Testing Covell Hall and Batcheller Hall 6:00 am – 7:00 am

Convergint will be conducting annual fire alarm testing in Covell Hall and Batcheller Hall, on October 31, 2023, between 6:00 am -7:00 am.  The testing will be brief and include both sounding of alarms. The sounding of alarms will be performed before 7:00 in the morning.

3/13: Crane Work in Graf Hall Parking Lot

As part of the Rogers Hall fume hood replacement project, a crane will be placed in the Graf Hall parking lot to lift equipment onto the roof of Rogers Hall. The work is scheduled for Monday, March 13 from 6:30 – 9 a.m. Limited parking spaces will remain available.

The image shows where a crane will be placed in the northwest corner of the Graff Hall parking lot. A block of parking spaces in the middle of the parking lot is shown as closed between 6 - 9 a.m. on March 13, 2023.

1/6/23: Crane Placement in Graf Hall Parking Lot

As part of the Graf Hall Renovation project, a crane will be placed in the Graf Hall parking lot on Friday, Jan. 6th from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM. The crane will be located within the fenced construction area. This may disrupt traffic patterns at the north end of the parking lot.
