The industrial and domestic water will be shut down in Dearborn Hall April 25, 2026 from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm to replace bad sections of hot water piping. This will affect the industrial and domestic hot water in labs and equipment attached to the industrial water. This will not affect restrooms.

Contractors for the city of Corvallis will be returning to SW 35th St. and Western Blvd. to complete pavement markings and lane striping on Monday, April 6 and Tuesday, April 7. This work will require frequent changes in traffic patterns such as lane closures, changes to parking lot access, etc. The fresh paint will require 10-15 minutes to cure in each area before traffic will be allowed to drive over it.

Access to the Western Building and UHDS parking lots may be limited to a single entry/exit point at times while paint is curing.

Please be prepared for changing travel routes in area around West Hills Rd./Western Blvd./SW 35th St. and follow detour signage and flagger directions.

CTS and Beaver Bus routes may be detoured, please check schedules.

Due to construction work happening in the area, a section of sidewalk on the west side of SW 15th St. adjacent to Adams Hall will be closed starting Monday, April 6 through Monday, April 20. Other possible impacts from this project include an increase in construction noise in the area.

The west sidewalk and entrance at Fairbanks Hall will be intermittently closed due to exterior painting work on Friday, April 3. The east entrance will also be closed at times as work progresses around the building. One building entrance will remain accessible at all times. Signage will be posted to direct building visitors.
