Due to the pruning of trees by a contractor, southbound 30th Street between Jefferson Way and Orchard Avenue (see map) will be closed Tuesday August 25, 2026 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Campus Way intersection will remain open. Sidewalks will remain open in the area but will be temporarily closed when work is being performed directly above.

Campus Way intersection will remain open. Sidewalks will remain open in the area but will be temporarily closed when work is being performed directly above.

As part of the Kelley District Utility Plant project, there will be intermittent traffic impacts on SW Campus Way due to tree trimming activity on Saturday, August 26 from 8 A.M. to 10 A.M. The location of the work will be between SW Memorial Place and SW 26th Street., near Milam Hall and Kelley Engineering Center. The equipment blocking the roadway will move to accommodate vehicle traffic and allow for emergency access to the area.
Both the north and the south sidewalks on Campus Way will remain open for pedestrians. Other possible impacts include noise near the work site.
