SW 30th St. will remain closed between SW Washington Way and SW Campus Way through Wednesday, July 3.
The intersections at Jefferson Way and Campus Way will remain open for east-west traffic.

Johnson Hall will be closed Wednesday, June 26, effective immediately. The closure is needed to repair a broken water line in the area. Estimated time of reopening is tonight at 8 P.M.

Convergint will be conducting annual fire alarm & sprinkler testing. Testing will take place in the buildings listed below. The testing will be brief and include both sounding of alarms and strobes. As part of the testing building occupants may notice occasional beeping coming from the fire panel and horns and strobe lights activating throughout the building. Signage will be posted on exterior doors while testing is being conducted.

As part of the Washington Way Improvement project, the intersection at SW Washington Way and SW 15th St. will be closed in all directions on Monday, July 1 and Tuesday, July 2 from 7:00 A.M. – 4:30 P.M. each day.
The intersection will be fully closed to both vehicles and pedestrians.

As part of the Oak Creek Roof and Structural Renewal project, the parking lot in the front (south side) of the Oak Creek Building will be closed from July 1 until September 30, 2024. The back (north side) parking lot will remain open.

Air handler #3 (AHU3) will be shut down in Magruder Hall on June 24th, 2024 between 7:00 am – 10:00 am to perform preventative maintenance on the unit. This should only affect the library and the southeast offices. Building occupants may notice warmer than normal air temperatures and reduced airflow during this time.

Due to the Pacific Power outage on Sunday the east elevator at Linus Pauling Science Center is currently shut down for emergency repairs. A restoral date is unknown at this time, replacement parts are on order. Updates will be provided when they are available from our elevator contractor, Otis.
