As part of the Washington Way Improvement project, SW Washington Way between SW 26th & SW 30th Streets will be closed through Tuesday, September 5. In addition, SW 26th St. will be closed between SW Ralph Miller Lane and SW Intramural Lane.

The south and west crosswalks at the intersection of 26th St. and Washington Way will remain open during this closure. The crosswalk on 26th St. at the OSU Beaver Store will also remain open.

A section of the east sidewalk on 26th St., near Dixon Recreation Center, will be closed. Pedestrians may use the west sidewalk, across from Dixon, to detour around the work site. The crosswalk on 26th St. at the entrance to Dixon will also remain open.

As part of the 2023 Parking Lot Improvement Program, the parking lot south of Richardson Hall and west of Dryden Hall (parking lot # 3341) will be closed for improvements through Monday, September 18. This closure includes access drives off SW 30th Street and SW Washington Way. These improvements will, at times, cause noise and dust.

Parking lots south of Richardson Hall and west of Dryden Hall are closed for improvements through September 18, 2023.

As part of the LaSells Stewart Center Mechanical and Roof Renewal project, a section of the northbound lane on SW 26th St., between SW Western Blvd. and The LaSells Stewart Center, will be closed to allow for crane activity on Thursday, August 31 from 7 A.M. to 2 P.M. Flaggers will be present in the area to direct traffic.

In addition, a section of the sidewalk on the east side of 26th St. will be closed along with the crosswalk near the front entrance and the walkway on the north side of The LaSells Stewart Center. The west sidewalk will remain open for pedestrians.

As part of the Kelley District Utility Plant project, there will be intermittent traffic impacts on SW Campus Way due to tree trimming activity on Saturday, August 26 from 8 A.M. to 10 A.M. The location of the work will be between SW Memorial Place and SW 26th Street., near Milam Hall and Kelley Engineering Center. The equipment blocking the roadway will move to accommodate vehicle traffic and allow for emergency access to the area.

Both the north and the south sidewalks on Campus Way will remain open for pedestrians. Other possible impacts include noise near the work site.

As part of the LaSells Stewart Center Mechanical & Roof Renewal Project, a section of SW Stadium Ave. located directly behind The LaSells Stewart Center and just south of Bloss Hall will be closed to allow for crane activity on Friday, August 25 from 7 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. The B2 parking lot east of The LaSells Stewart Center will also be closed. The entrance to SW Stadium Ave. from SW Western Blvd. will be closed. Both the east and west sidewalks on Stadium Ave. directly behind The LaSells Stewart Center will be closed. A vehicle detour will be available from Western Blvd. along the east and north side of the LaSells Stewart Center East parking lot.

The steam system will be shut down in the Agricultural & Life Sciences Building starting Tuesday, August 22 at 4:30 P.M. The system is expected to resume normal operations on Friday, August 25 at 10:00 A.M.

The shutdown will allow for necessary steam pipe repairs and equipment replacement. This shutdown will impact all floors in the ALS building. During the shutdown, autoclaves, drying cabinets, humidifiers and hot water in laboratories will be unavailable.

The hot water in breakrooms and restrooms will not be impacted by this shutdown.

The steam will be shut down in Cordley Hall East, Ag. Life Sciences Building, Linus Pauling, Nash Hall, West Greenhouse & Crop Sciences August 24, 2023 12:01 am – 8:00 am to repair distribution isolation valve gasket on the steam line along Campus Way (200 ft east of the north bound lane of SW 30th st.) This process affects hot water supply, heating, and all equipment that uses steam, building wide.
