3/28-3/29/2022: Geotechnical drilling work scheduled around Withycombe Hall
As part of the Withycombe Hall Renovation Project, geotechnical drilling is scheduled to occur on the north and south sides of the west wing of Withycombe Hall starting on Monday, March 28, 2022 through Tuesday, March 29, 2022. This work will create noise and will require closures outside the building. On Monday, March 28, 2022, the southwest entrance of Withycombe will be closed, along with a portion of the sidewalk on 30th Street, and a portion of the westbound lane of Campus Way. On Tuesday, March 29, 2022, the northern entrance will be impacted, with partial obstruction at the entry and closure of the sidewalk along the building from 30th Street and the fire lane.

3/21-3/24/2022: Tree removal work along SW Washington Way between SW 30th and SW 26th streets
For work related to the Washington Way Improvement Project, tree removal work along SW Washington Way between SW 30th and SW 26th streets is scheduled to start on Monday, March 21, 2022 through Thursday, March 24, 2022. Expect intermittent roadway and sidewalk closures related to the tree removal work. Flaggers will be on site to direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic when traffic interruptions occur. Along the north side of SW Washington Way, 27 red maple trees must be removed to accommodate the wider roadway and for the City of Corvallis water line replacement to occur. The 25-year-old trees will be replaced with new diverse trees and shrubs as part of the project’s landscape design. The Student Legacy Park South parking lot (lot #3293) will also be closed from Monday, March 21, 2022 through Thursday, March 24, 2022 for the tree removal work.
Additionally, a contractor will be on site to perform waterline potholing work at the intersection of SW 35th Street and SW Washington Way from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22, 2022. Flaggers will be onsite at the intersection and traffic impacts are expected to be minimal.

3/18/2022: Parking lot #3221 closure extended for striping work
As part of the Graf Hall Renovation Project, the closure of the Monroe Ave. and 16th Street parking lot (lot #3221) is being extended through Friday, March 18, 2022 for striping work. Building entrances accessed from the parking lot will not be available while striping work occurs. Alternate entrances to the building will need to be used.

3/21-3/25/2022: Concrete work & sidewalk closure for Fairbanks Hall Renovation Project
As part of the Fairbanks Hall Renovation Project, demolition of the old Fairbanks Annex existing concrete pad, along with the preparation and placement of new concrete for a new transformer pad by the Women’s Building, will occur onsite during the week of Spring Break from Monday, March 21, 2022 through Friday, March 25, 2022.
What to expect:
- The sidewalk located between the Women’s Building and Fairbanks Hall will be temporarily closed starting Monday, March 21, 2022 through Friday, March 25, 2022.
- There will be truck traffic in and out of the Fairbanks Hall worksite using the 35th Street/Jefferson Way route.
- Expect noise as existing concrete is broken up, demolished and hauled away. The concrete breaking activities will start no earlier than 8 a.m.

As part of the Graf Hall Renovation Project, the main stairway in Graf Hall will be closed for flooring installation from Thursday, March 17, 2022 through Friday, March 18, 2022. Please use exits located in the northeast corner of the building or use the bridge to Rogers Hall on the second and third floors.

3/24/22: Agricultural & Life Sciences Building- Emergency Outlet Power Outage- 7a-9a
Power to all 208 and 120v red emergency outlets will be shut down at Agricultural & Life Sciences Bldg., to install a new circuit breaker. The outage will take place on March 24, 2022, from 7 am to 9 am.

The planned steam shutdowns will impact multiple buildings located along or near SW Jefferson Way in the Community Hall Slope Project work area. Planned steam shutdowns are scheduled to start on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 through Saturday, March 26, 2022.

The laboratory exhaust air will be shut down for inspection on Friday, March 11th from 8 am to 9 am. This will affect fume hood exhaust, sashes should be kept closed during this time.

For work related to the Community Hall Slope Project, a planned power outage is scheduled. The planned power outage will impact multiple buildings located along or near SW Jefferson Way in the Community Hall Slope Project work area. The outage is scheduled for Tuesday, March 22, 2022 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The following buildings will be without power from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22, 2022:
- Buxton Hall
- Callahan Hall
- Cauthorn Hall
- Hawley Hall
- McNary Hall
- Poling Hall
- Wilson Hall
The following buildings will be without power and CLOSED from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22, 2022:
- Heckart Lodge
- Kerr Administration Building
- McAlexander Field House
- McNary Dining Hall (the Service Center will be open)
- Reed Lodge
- Snell Hall
- West Dining Hall

What do you need to do to prepare for this outage? Please make sure that all computers, printers, copiers, and other electronic devices are turned off prior to March 22, 2022. If you have an Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS), also known as a battery back-up, please be sure to turn it off as well.
