Due to a mechanical failure, the chiller that provides cooling to Crop Science is being shut down. Building occupants will notice warmer than normal air temperatures in the building. 7/11-7/12/2022: Cascade Hall stair construction work and crane setup
As part of the Cascade Hall exterior stair replacement project, crane work to remove exterior stairs on the south side of Cascade Hall will occur from Monday, July 11, 20022 through Tuesday, July 12, 2022. Parking in this area will be closed while work takes place. The exterior stairs to the second floor of the building will be closed until Monday, August 1, 2022.

7/8-7/19/2022: Research Way Building basement spray foam patching
As part of the basement improvements for Library Archives project at the Research Way Building renovation project, access to the basement storage area will be restricted for patching of spray foam insulation and fire coating at the ceiling. Work will start on Friday, July 8, 2022 through Tuesday, July 19, 2022. Cleanup of masking will occur on Monday July 18, 2022.

7/7-7/8/2022: Planned HVAC shutdown on fourth floor of LINC
A planned shutdown of the fourth floor HVAC system in the Learning Innovation Center (LINC) is scheduled to start on Thursday, July 7, 2022 through Friday, July 8, 2022. Hydronic lines will be drained and new valves will be installed.

7/7/2022: Planned power outage scheduled for Coast Range Building
For work related to the Coast Range Building renovation, a planned power outage is scheduled from 7-8:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2022. During the planned outage, electrical connections will be added for the relocating of -80F freezers.

7/5/22: Nash Hall Building Supply Fan Shutdown
Notice: Nash Hall Building Supply Fan Shutdown
Effective Date(s): Tuesday, July 5th, 2022 5:00 am -8:00 am
The building supply fan will be shut down in Nash Hall to replace 4 failed motors. Building occupants will notice air pressure fluctuations. Fume hood sashes should be kept closed during this time. For questions email Facilities Services or call 737-2969.
6/2022: Campus Wide Generator Testing
Facilities Services will be performing annual load bank testing for the below listed building emergency/ stand-by generators. Each test will take approximately 3 hours. There may be excessive noise and possible exhaust fume odors associated with testing. Each generator will be refueled after testing.

For work related to the Cordley Hall Renovation Project, a heating water shutdown is planned on all floors at Cordley Hall starting at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, June 27, 2022 through 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 30, 2022. Crews will be onsite performing piping work.
