As part of the LaSells Stewart Center Mechanical & Roof Renewal Project, a section of SW Stadium Ave. located directly behind LaSells Stewart Center and just south of Bloss Hall will be closed to allow for crane activity on Friday, June 9 from 8 A.M. to 1 P.M. The B2 parking lot east of the LaSells Stewart Center will also be closed.  

The entrance to SW Stadium Ave. from SW Western Blvd. will be closed. Both the east and west sidewalks on Stadium Ave. directly behind the LaSells Stewart Center will be closed. A vehicle detour will be available from Western Blvd. along the east and north side of the Bloss Hall South Parking Lot.

As part of the Completing Reser Stadium Project, flaggers will be present on SW 26th St. just south of the LaSells Stewart Center on Friday, June 2 from 12 – 4 P.M. Workers will be removing temporary pavement markings in the area. The street will remain open to all traffic, but minor delays should be expected.

As part of the Dixon Recreation Center Pool System Replacement & HVAC Project, a crane will be placed in the Dixon East Parking Lot on Monday, June 5 from 6 A.M. to 12 P.M. The parking lot will remain open, but two ADA parking spaces and one loading zone space will be closed on the north side of the parking lot. Pedestrian access will be maintained along the sidewalk closest to Goss Stadium.

As part of the West Greenhouse Improvement Project, a section of the eastbound lane on SW Campus Way will be closed along with a section of the south sidewalk on Friday, May 5 from 7 AM to 4PM. The impacted section is located between SW 30th and SW 35th Streets in front of the Motor Pool West and National Forage Seed Center East parking lots. The parking lots will remain open. However, the east entrance to the NFSC East parking lot will be closed and multiple parking spaces will be unavailable.

Drivers should expect to see flaggers directing traffic around the closure. A pedestrian detour will be available along the north sidewalk.

There are two maps pictured. One map shows a pedestrian detour along the north sidewalk on SW Campus Way.  The second map shows a sidewalk and lane closure on the south side of SW Campus Way.

As part of the Cordley Hall Renewal project, the building will undergo testing of the standby power, fire alarm and building air sequence systems on Thursday, April 20 from 5 – 9 a.m. Any equipment NOT connected to the standby power system will lose power during this time. 

What do you need to do to prepare for this outage? Please make sure that all computers, printers, copiers, and other electronic devices are turned off prior to Thursday, April 20. If you have an Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS), also known as a battery back-up, please be sure to turn it off as well.

Other possible impacts include noise from fire alarm tests and minor air flow fluctuations.
