9/24/24: Sidewalk Closure at Memorial Union and Quad 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Due to tree work in the memorial Union quad the yellow marked entrances and sidewalks will be closed for access (see map) beginning Tuesday, September 10, 2024 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

9/9/24: Industrial & Domestic Hot Water Shutdown in Nash Hall 7:00 am – 2:00 pm
The industrial & domestic hot water will be shut down in Nash Hall September 9, 2024 from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm to tie in valves for future equipment. This will affect all industrial and domestic hot water building wide.

June 2025: Annual Campus Wide Steam Shutdown
Each year Facilities Services performs necessary maintenance on the university’s steam system, which requires shutting off the steam throughout campus, to complete maintenance services at the plant, throughout the steam tunnels and in each building. This process affects hot water supply, heating, and all equipment that uses steam, campus wide. The steam shutdown for 2025 will occur June 16th – June 27th, 2025.

8/12/24: Kerr Administration Building Steam Shutdown 6:00 am- 11:00 am
The steam will be shut down in Kerr Administration Building August 12, 2024 6:00 am – 11:00 am to replace leaking steam valves in the basement. This will affect the heating and hot water in the building.

8/10/24: Domestic Hot Water Shutdown in Nash Hall 7:00 am – 12:00 pm
The domestic hot water will be shut down in Nash Hall August 10, 2024 from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm while repairs are being made. This will affect the domestic hot water in restrooms, custodial closets and non-lab sinks.

8/6-8/7/24: Kelley Engineering Center Air Handler Shutdown
Air Handler Unit 9 will be shutdown in Kelley Engineering Center for repairs on August 6 & 7th all day. Building occupants on the second and third floor west end perimeter offices may notice airflow issues and increased temps.

8/6/24: Ag. Life & Sciences Supply Fans Shutdown 7:00 am-12:00 pm
The building air fans will be shut down one at a time to perform preventive maintenance and change air filters in Ag. Life & Sciences August 6, 2024 7:00 am – 12:00 pm. Building occupants may notice slight pressure & air flow changes throughout the building.

8/1/24: Pacific Power Shutdown in RAIL Building 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
Pacific Power is making repairs to an underground vault at the RAIL Building August 1, 2024 8:00 am- 3:00 pm. For this repair to happen they will need to shut the power off to the building. This should only affect the building with a slight interruption in power at the beginning and the end while the building generator cycles on and off. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause, however this shutdown is necessary for the repairs to be completed.
