Facilities Services will be performing annual load bank testing for the below listed building emergency/ stand-by generators.  Each test will take approximately 3 hours. There may be excessive noise and possible exhaust fume odors associated with testing.  Each generator will be refueled after testing.

For work related to the 2022 Street Safety Maintenance Project, four parking spaces in the Magruder Hall Diagnostic Laboratory parking area will be closed starting at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 through 3 p.m. on Friday, May 20, 2022. A sidewalk detour will also be in place for pedestrians and the diagnostic lab will remain open.

For work related to the Community Hall Slope Project, the access hatch (JWH8) to the utility tunnel will be removed and relocated. The current hatch is located on Jefferson Avenue across from Kerr Administration Building. Additional access hatches can be found west, north, and east of this location. Communication lines in the tunnel in this area are temporarily supported and impede movement. Staff should avoid this area of the tunnel, if possible.

For work related to the Washington Way Improvement Project, a planned sidewalk closure along the north side of SW Washington Way is scheduled to start at 8 a.m. on Friday, May 6, 2022 through 5 p.m. on Monday, June 13, 2022. Pacific Power will be on site performing work related to the project.

Kidder Hall Hot Water Emergency Shutdown – Due to a heat exchanger failure all hot water in Kidder Hall has been turned off. At this time because of parts availability repairs are estimated to be delayed about 3 weeks.
