The steam will be shut down in Johnson Hall July 18, 2024, 6:00 am – 10:00 am to repair a steam valve. This will affect heating, autoclaves and hot water in the building.

As part of the Washington Way Improvement project, construction activity will be taking place along the Washington Way multi-use path between SW 15th and SW 17th St. starting Wednesday, July 17 through Wednesday, July 24. The multi-use path will remain open. The path will be separated from the work area with construction fencing.
Flaggers will be present to direct pedestrians and vehicles at the intersection of Washington Way and May Ave./17th St.
Other possible impacts include noise, dust and mud near the work area.

SW Jefferson Way be closed between SW 26th St and SW Waldo Place on Friday, July 19 from 7:00 AM until 3:00 pm for a crane to be placed to replace rooftop mechanical equipment. The closure includes both the north and south sidewalks.

The crane will be removing decommissioned cooling towers on the roof of the ALS Building. The walkway area between the two buildings will be closed. Both buildings will remain open during the crane activity.

As part of the Bloss Hall Renovation project, a section of SW Stadium Ave. between Bloss Hall and CH2M Hill Alumni Center will be closed starting Monday, July 15 through Friday, August 2. The sidewalk on the west side of Bloss Hall will be also closed along with a section of parking spaces on the west side of Stadium Ave (Bloss Hall West parking lot).
