National Forage Seed Center & Crop Science Building Parking Lots Closed Starting 7/5

As part of the Summer 2023 Parking Lot Renewal Project, two parking lots on SW Campus Way will be closed this week.

The National Forage Seed Center parking lot will be closed on Wednesday, July 5 & Thursday, July 6.

The Crop Science Building West parking lot will be closed from Wednesday, July 5 – Friday, July 7.

7/5: Ralph Miller Lane Street & Sidewalk Closure

As part of the Completing Reser Stadium project, a section of SW Ralph Miller Lane, located directly in front of the P. Wayne Valley Sports Performance Center, will be closed on Wednesday, July 5 from 7 A.M. to 5 P.M for crane activity.

The south sidewalk within the impacted section of Ralph Miller Lane will also be closed. The north sidewalk will remain open.

EXTENDED: Campus Way Multi-Use Path Closure Between 35th & 53rd St. Through 7/7

This is an extension of a previous closure.

The Campus Way multi-use path will be closed daily from 8 A.M until 3 P.M to all vehicle, pedestrian and bicycle traffic through Friday, July 7 for brush clearing and spraying. Work will occur Monday through Friday. The route will reopen after 3 P.M. on weekdays and remain fully open on weekends. The closure will begin just west of the Feed Center and continue down Campus Way to 53rd St.

EXTENDED through mid-day 6/29: Street Lighting Outage Overnight on 26th St. & Intramural Lane

As part of the Washington Way Improvement project, there will be a street lighting outage along the west side of SW 26th Street from SW Washington Way north to SW Intramural Lane. The outage will continue along the south side of SW Intramural Lane west to SW 30th Street.

This will be an overnight outage from Wednesday, June 28 until mid-day Thursday, June 29.

The map shows an aerial view of Student Legacy Park with a street lighting outage marked along the west side SW 26th Street from SW Washington Way north to SW Intramural Lane. The street lighting outage continues down the south side of SW Intramural Lane to SW 30th Street.

6/30/23 – 8/31/24: Campus Way Sidewalk Closure Near Withycombe Hall

As part of the Withycombe Hall Renovation project, the north sidewalk on SW Campus Way between the East Greenhouses and SW 30th St. will be closed to pedestrian traffic from June 30, 2023 through August 31, 2024. Pedestrians may detour across Campus Way at the crosswalk located directly in front of the East Greenhouses or at the intersection with 30th St. and use the south sidewalk.

6/27-6/28: Street Lighting Outage Overnight on 26th St. & Intramural Lane

As part of the Washington Way Improvement project, there will be a street lighting outage along the west side of SW 26th Street from SW Washington Way north to SW Intramural Lane. The outage will continue along both sides of SW Intramural Lane west to SW 30th Street.

This will be an overnight outage from Tuesday, June 27 until Wednesday, June 28th.

UPDATE: The north sidewalk on Jefferson Way between Benton Place and Waldo Place will be closed. The south sidewalk will remain open for pedestrians.

As part of the Valley Library Telecommunications Project, SW Jefferson Way between SW Benton Place and SW Waldo Place will be closed from Wednesday, June 28 through Thursday, June 29 to allow for crane activity. The crane will be placed on Jefferson Way directly in front of Valley Library. Westbound traffic on Jefferson Way will be detoured around the area via Benton Place south to Langton Place.
