Brick repair work for the International Living-Learning Center (ILLC) is scheduled to start on Monday, August 9, 2021 through Thursday, September 16, 2021. Temporary sidewalk closures around the ILLC building will be in place and a lift will be on-site (view map).

For work related to the Arts & Education Complex project, sections of the sidewalks along 15th Street and Washington Way will be closed off for several weeks. Pedestrian detours will be in place. Work is scheduled to start on Monday, July 12, 2021 through Friday, July 23, 2021.

For work related to Pacific Power system upgrades, Pacific Power will continue to perform electrical trenching and drilling work through the end of August 2021. Electrical trenching and drilling work started at the intersection of 35th Street and SW Washington Way in mid-April 2021. Ongoing work will occur on both sides of SW Washington Way between 35th Street and 30th Street. This work supports Pacific Power’s power infrastructure and prepares for future upgrades to SW Washington Way.

The sidewalk located on the south side of Callahan Hall was temporarily closed for window repair work being done at Callahan Hall. Work started on Tuesday, July 6, 2021. Work finished and the sidewalk was re-opened on Monday, August 9, 2021.

As part of the Community Hall Slope Project, Oregon State University will begin work in early July 2021 to update the area shown in the map image below to provide access through this portion of OSU’s Corvallis campus for all people. ADA improvements related to the project will also require reconstruction of building entrances to Gladys Valley, the Pharmacy Building and Joyce Collin Furman Hall. There will be an open entrance to each building at all times.
We will work to accommodate the needs of users working within the project area, but there will be disruptions to many day-to-day activities. If you have specific concerns regarding this project and how it may impact you or your work, please contact with Construction Manager Lindsey Austin at 541-990-7720, to work through any issues.
As part of the Poling Hall window replacement project, the north lane of Intramural Lane south of Cauthorn and Poling Halls will be closed. In addition, the sidewalk to the east of Poling, along Weatherford Way, will be closed, as will the east entrance to the quad interior between Poling and Buxton Halls. There will be sidewalks closed inside the quad as well. Parking spots south of Cauthorn and Poling Halls will be closed.
