Because the building is centrally located on campus, please be aware that construction work is starting for the Fairbanks Hall renovation project. You can expect more activities at the building site along SW 26th Street and Jefferson Way as Fortis Construction starts work on the building.
You can expect:
- A higher level of truck traffic on 35th Street and Jefferson Way.
- The start of demolition of the metal Fairbanks Annex building will start this week.
- A vacuum excavation truck will be onsite for exploratory work on Wednesday, August 4.
These activities will produce noise, as expected for typical construction work onsite. We will continue to provide information about other activities that may impact campus for the duration of the project.
