The Richardson Hall chiller and chilled water system will be shut down immediately for emergency repairs. Building occupants will notice warmer than normal air temperatures during this time. This will not affect temperatures in the server rooms. Estimated restoral date is August 25th.

8/18-9/14/2022: Multiple parking lot and roadway closures scheduled for Summer Parking Lot Renewal Project
For work related to the 2022 Summer Parking Lot Renewal Project, multiple parking lot and roadway closures along SW Intramural Lane are scheduled.
- The Intramural lot (lot #3294) will be closed from August 18-September 9, 2022.
- The N 16th St East lot (lot #3224) will be closed from August 18-August 31, 2022.
- The N 16th St West lot (lot #3223) will be closed from August 18-September 14, 2022.
- SW Intramural Lane will be closed between SW 30th Street and SW 26th Street for the duration of the project.

8/22-8/26: Scheduled RO/DI Water Shutdown Richardson Hall
RO/DI water will be shut down to Richardson Hall starting August 22th through August 26th to allow installation of a new RO/DI water system. During this week the old system will be removed and replaced and new electrical and plumbing connections will be made.

8/18/2022: Planned power outage scheduled for multiple buildings from 5-7 a.m.
For work related to the Cordley Hall Renewal Project, a planned power outage is scheduled from 5-7 a.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2022 for the following buildings on Oregon State University’s Corvallis campus:
- Ballard Extension
- Cordley Hall- East side
- Gilmore Hall
- Nash Hall
- Withycombe Hall
- Women’s Building
This is the rescheduled date for the planned power outage originally scheduled for August 8.

8/8-8/15: Loud noise from concrete demolition in Dixon Recreation Center
As part of the Dixon Recreation Center pool mechanical replacement project, loud concrete demolition work will occur in the pool area from August 8 through August 15, 2022. The pool will be open normal hours and hearing protection will be available at the doors into the pool area.

8/9/22: Planned power outage for Pharmacy, Gladys Valley Gymnastics Center and Hattie Redmond Women and Gender Center
As part of the Community Hall Slope Project, a temporary power outage will occur from 6 – 8 am on Tuesday, August 9 in the following buildings: Pharmacy, Gladys Valley Gymnastics Center and Hattie Redmond Women and Gender Center. Pharmacy will only experience a short power interruption before backup power takes over.
What do you need to do to prepare for this outage? Please make sure that all computers, printers, copiers, and other electronic devices are turned off prior to 6 am on August 9. If you have an Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS), also known as a battery back-up, please be sure to turn it off as well.

8/5/22: Fire alarm testing at Fairbanks Hall
As part of the Fairbanks Hall renovation project, fire alarm testing with horns and strobes will be occurring intermittently throughout the day on Friday, August 5, 2022. Corvallis Fire Department Dispatch is aware of the testing.

Scheduled: Crop Science Building – Generator Transfer Switch Testing
Effective Date(s): August 10, 2022, 5:30 am – 6:30 am.
To ensure recent repairs to the transfer switch were successful, power to all generator-backed outlets will be briefly interrupted for testing on August 10, 2022. Power interruptions should only occur when the switch is turned on and then turned off a short amount of time later.
