10/16/2020: Crane at Buxton Hall and SW Jefferson Way closure

For work related to the Buxton Hall roof replacement, there will be a crane at Buxton Hall offloading material from the roof. Both lanes of SW Jefferson Way will be closed at the corner of SW Weatherford Place. The south sidewalk will also be closed to pedestrian traffic at this location. SW Weatherford Place between SW Jefferson Way and SW Intramural Lane will also be closed. The closure is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 16, 2020, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Notice: Water Shutdown Crop Science Building 10/15

Notice:  Water Shutdown Crop Science Building  

Effective Date(s): October 15th 6:00am – 9:00 am

The building water for Crop Science will be shutdown to repairs, October 15th, 2020 from 6:00 am. 9:00 am.  This will affect all potable water, building wide.  Restrooms will be temporarily out of order and signage will be in place.

Emergency Shutdown: Magruder Hall Steam Shutdown 10/13

Effective Date(s): October 13th 2020 7:00 am -12:00 pm   

In order to perform emergency steam line repairs, steam will be turned off to the South wing of Magruder Hall tomorrow, 10/13 from 7am to 12pm.  This will affect domestic hot water and heating water for this portion of the building.  Water temperature and some air temperature may be lower than normal.

10/6/20 Closure of sidewalks on south side of ILLC

For work related to the ILLC masonry repairs, the sidewalk on the south side of the ILLC will be closed. The closure is scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2020.

9/28/2020: Research Way Lab Building fire sprinkler system shutdown

As part of the Research Way Lab Building Renovation Project, the fire sprinkler system at the Research Way Lab Building needs to be shutdown to repair a leaking sprinkler head on the second floor in Open Office area room #2180. The location of the work is toward the west end of 2180 and will not impact any of the offices or office cubicles.
