A closure is scheduled for parking lot #3278 (Sports Complex East) to set and install new light poles. Work for parking lot #3278 (Sports Complex East) is scheduled to start on Monday, Sept. 28 to Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2020. The lot will be fully or partially closed for construction and planned closure durations are subject to change.

Sports Complex East lot

As part of the Nash Elevator Project, work will be done to remove and replace an electrical panel in Nash Hall. This will impact the Reverse Osmosis De-Ionized water system in Nash Hall. Work is scheduled to occur all day on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2020.

This closure has been rescheduled. For work related to the Buxton Hall and Hawley Hall roof replacements, both lanes of SW Jefferson Way will be closed between SW Weatherford Place and SW Sackett Place. A crane will be on site installing rock ballast on the roofs of Buxton Hall and Hawley Hall. The closure is scheduled to start on Friday, Sept. 11 to Saturday, Sept. 12, 2020, 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

SW Jefferson Way area map

For work related to the West Hall roof replacement, SW Intramural Lane will be closed from SW 30th Street to SW Sackett Place for a crane pick. A crane will be on site placing rock ballast on the roof of West Hall. The closure is scheduled to start on Thursday, Sept. 3 to Friday, Sept. 4, 2020.

West Hall area map

As part of the Oak Creek HVAC Project, a planned electrical shutdown is scheduled for the Oak Creek Building. The electrical shutdown is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 22, 2020 from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Identified equipment that needs temporary power during the outage has been coordinated with the contractor and will be picked up by a generator.

Oak Creek Building area map

For work related to the Pharmacy classroom AC unit upgrade, the shutdown of the 509 chiller that services the north wing of the Pharmacy Building is necessary for the start-up of the new AC unit for Classroom #305. Facilities Services will be monitoring the electrical capacity once the new unit is up and will be restarting the 509 chiller to see if the building electrical capacity is compromised. The shutdown for the 509 chiller is scheduled to start at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 27 through 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 28, 2020.
