As part of the Kelley District Utility Plant project, the steam system will be shut down in Kelley Engineering Center on Wednesday, October 11 from 9 A.M. to 9 P.M. to allow for repairs and necessary modifications. The building will be without hot water during the shutdown and may experience temperature fluctuations. The 4th floor women’s restroom will also be closed during the shutdown.

The steam system will be shut down in the Agricultural & Life Sciences Building starting Tuesday, August 22 at 4:30 P.M. The system is expected to resume normal operations on Friday, August 25 at 10:00 A.M.

The shutdown will allow for necessary steam pipe repairs and equipment replacement. This shutdown will impact all floors in the ALS building. During the shutdown, autoclaves, drying cabinets, humidifiers and hot water in laboratories will be unavailable.

The hot water in breakrooms and restrooms will not be impacted by this shutdown.

The steam will be shut down in Cordley Hall East, Ag. Life Sciences Building, Linus Pauling, Nash Hall, West Greenhouse & Crop Sciences August 24, 2023 12:01 am – 8:00 am to repair distribution isolation valve gasket on the steam line along Campus Way (200 ft east of the north bound lane of SW 30th st.) This process affects hot water supply, heating, and all equipment that uses steam, building wide.

The steam will be shut down in Sackett Hall, Austin Hall and Learning Innovation Center on July 24th, 6:00 am – 1:00 pm to inspect steam and condensate leaks. This will affect all steam services, includes heat & hot water building wide.
