The Fairbanks Hall Renovation Project is now in construction. Due to forecasted windy weather and Fairbanks Hall re-roofing work overhead, the sidewalk between Fairbanks Hall and the Women’s Building will be closed temporarily for safety reasons on Friday September 24, 2021. The south door at the Women’s Building will have signage directing people to use a different door for this short duration. The sidewalk will re-open to pedestrians at 5 p.m. on Friday, September 24, 2021.

For questions or comments on this closure, contact Construction Manager Amy Keene at 541-214-1038.

Emergency Street Shutdown Westbound lane at the intersection of 30th and Washington Way due to an apparent water main break. The City of Corvallis has been contacted and is en route to repair, unknown time of restoration.  Additional lane closures could occur as the work progresses. Magruder Hall will experience reduced water pressure while this repair is being performed.

As part of the Community Hall Slope Project, tree removal work in the project area is scheduled to start on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 through Friday, September 3, 2021. Additional work associated with the project is scheduled to continue on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, starting at the east side of Furman Hall.

Oregon State University began work in early July 2021 to update the area shown in this map image to provide access through this portion of OSU’s Corvallis campus for all people. ADA improvements related to the project will also require reconstruction of building entrances to Gladys Valley, the Pharmacy Building and Joyce Collin Furman Hall. There will be an open entrance to each building at all times.

We will work to accommodate the needs of users working within the project area, but there will be disruptions to many day-to-day activities. If you have specific concerns regarding this project and how it may impact you or your work, please contact with Project Manager Lindsey Austin at 541-990-7720, to work through any issues.
