Steam will be shut down to Owen Hall on February 10th, 2021 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, to replace a steam valve for SU1. This will affect airflow and heating throughout the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floor as well as the east side of the 4th floor.

A portion of AHU1 in Richardson Hall will be shut down February 10th– 11th from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, to repair a heating water pump. This will reduce airflow creating some pressure imbalance throughout the building. Fume hoods will be operational.

As part of the Campus Operations building project, partial closures are scheduled for the Western Building parking lot. The partial lot closures are scheduled to start on Monday, Feb. 8 through Friday, Feb. 12, 2021. The west half of the parking lot will be closed for storm line work from Monday, Feb. 8 through Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2021. The east half of the parking lot will be closed for storm line work from Thursday, Feb. 11 through Friday, Feb. 12, 2021.

As part of the Kerr Fire Alarm Replacement project, in order to facilitate the installation of the new fire alarm system in Kerr Administration Building, building power will be shut off on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2021, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

As part of the Nash Hall Elevator project, smoke detectors are scheduled to be installed on Monday, Jan. 18, 2021. Work is scheduled to start at 8 a.m. through 2 p.m., and will require the fire alarm system to be put in test mode. As part of this work, the fire alarm control panel on the first floor will most likely be emitting a beeping sound. This notice is intended to inform building occupants.

Notice: Oak Creek Building Exterior Wood Column Lead Abatement & Shoring
Effective Date(s): Wednesday, January 6 through Friday, January 15, 2021
Exterior wood column lead abatement and shoring will be performed as part of the Oak Creek Building Wood Column Replacement. The work will occur on the south side of the exterior of the building and affect two floors. There will likely be solvent odors for the lead paint removal, running through early next week (1/11/21) and drilling noise / vibrations through the end of next week (1/15/21).
