As part of the Graf Hall Renovation Project, a section of sidewalk on the north side of Graf Hall will be closed for excavation work for a new sidewalk and building entry. During the closure, pedestrian traffic will be routed to the north side of Monroe Avenue. The closure is scheduled to start on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 through Friday, January 14, 2022.

For work related to the Completing Reser Stadium project, starting on Monday, January 3, 2022 through Monday, January 10, 2022, a temporary entrance and exit driveway will be constructed along SW 26th Street and five ADA parking spaces will be temporarily closed. A temporary sidewalk closure along SW 26th Street is also planned.
On Monday, January 10, 2022, the temporary driveway areas along SW 26th Street will reopen to all traffic, parking lot fencing for the scheduled implosion of the stadium’s west side on January 7, 2022 will be removed, and site fencing for the new wellness clinic will be set up. Temporary traffic impacts along SW 26th Street related to conduit installation work being performed by Pacific Power are also expected. One lane of traffic along SW 26th Street will remain open while work is being performed.

As part of the Graf Hall Renovation Project, a section of sidewalk along NW Monroe Ave. on the north side of Graf Hall will be closed for the removal of an underground storage tank near the building. The closure will be in place daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. starting on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 through Thursday, December 16, 2021. Signage and flaggers will be provided when needed for intermittent street and sidewalk restrictions.

The north sidewalk along SW Jefferson Avenue, between the Fairbanks Hall parking lot entry and the Austin Hall/Asian & Pacific Cultural Center fire lane/pathway will be closed for a short duration to accommodate a boring truck starting on the afternoon of Wednesday, December 1, 2021 through the end of the day on Friday, December 3, 2021.
Additionally, as part of the Fairbanks Hall Renovation Project, utility work continues. The sidewalk between the Women’s Building and Fairbanks Hall is scheduled to be closed through Monday, December 27, 2021 (view map). An area of the sidewalk/fire lane between Austin Hall and the Asian & Pacific Cultural Center will also be closed.

The sidewalk between the Women’s Building and Fairbanks Hall is scheduled to be closed from Monday, November 29 through Monday, December 27, 2021. An area of the sidewalk/fire lane between Austin Hall and the Asian & Pacific Cultural Center will also be closed.
As part of the Community Hall Slope Project, excavation and storm pipe installation work is scheduled along the south side of Furman Hall starting Thursday, November 18 through Wednesday, November 24, 2021. A sidewalk closure will be in place. Pedestrians will be able to access Furman Hall via the east entrance.

Exit doors from Rogers Hall will be marked closed except in emergency.

South lane of traffic will be blocked.

A temporary sidewalk closure at the southwest side of Owen Hall is scheduled from 7-10 a.m., on Monday, October 18, 2021 (view map). A crew will be using a lift to repair a window at the southwest corner of the building.

As part of the Owen Hall Renovation Project, a temporary elevator shutdown is scheduled from 7 to 9 a.m. on Thursday, October 14, 2021 to upgrade the fire alarm system in the building. The first and second floors of Owen Hall can be accessed by using Kearney Hall and the sky bridge.

A temporary sidewalk closure in the area around the Owen Hall loading dock is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily starting Thursday, October 14 through Friday, October 15, 2021. A crew will be working on the roof of the building to install antenna locations for a DAS system.

The Fairbanks Hall Renovation Project is now in construction. Due to forecasted windy weather and Fairbanks Hall re-roofing work overhead, the sidewalk between Fairbanks Hall and the Women’s Building will be closed temporarily for safety reasons on Friday September 24, 2021. The south door at the Women’s Building will have signage directing people to use a different door for this short duration. The sidewalk will re-open to pedestrians at 5 p.m. on Friday, September 24, 2021.
