4/14-4/16/2021: Trenching work along 35th Street

For work related to Pacific Power system upgrades, Pacific Power will perform trenching work along 35th Street through Friday, April 16, 2021. Trenching work will occur in the following areas: near the Energy Center in the Energy Center East Lot (lot #3340), the Energy Center South Lot (lot #3339) and the 35th Street access to the Energy Center. The access along SW Jefferson Way will remain open. This work supports Pacific Power’s power infrastructure and prepares for future upgrades to SW Washington Way.

4/15-4/16/2021: Lift accessing Milam Hall roof

As part of the Milam Hall re-roofing project, a lift will be set up adjacent to Milam Hall for the roof design team to gain access to the roof starting at 9 a.m. on Thursday, April 15, 2021. Work will continue through Friday, April 16, 2021.

4/15-4/18/2021: Western Building parking lot closure

As part of the Campus Operations building project, the Western Building parking lot will be fully closed for paving. Paving work is scheduled to start on Thursday, April 15 through Sunday, April 18, 2021. If you are planning to come to the Western Building on these days, you will need to park in another parking lot. If you have fleet vehicles in the Western Building lot, they will need to be moved by end of day on Wednesday, April 14, 2021.

4/14/21: Ag. Life & Sciences Supply Fans Shutdown 9:00 am- 1:00 pm

The building air supply fans will be shut down one at a time to perform preventive maintenance and change air filters in Ag. Life & Sciences April 14, 2021 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. Building occupants may notice slight pressure & air flow changes throughout the building.

4/8/2021: Crane work at Nash Hall

As part of the Nash Hall Elevator project, a crane pick of elevator equipment is scheduled at Nash Hall, and in the building’s loading dock area and around the access road south of building. The Sackett North Lot (lot #3303) areas around Nash Hall will be impacted. Work is scheduled for Thursday, April 8, 2021.

4/5-4/23/2021: Partial closures for Western Building parking lot

As part of the Campus Operations building project, partial closures are scheduled for the Western Building lot for grading and paving work. Partial lot closures are scheduled to start on Monday, April 5 through Friday, April 23, 2021. Half of the parking lot will remain open at all times. Please note, paving work is weather dependent and future updates to the schedule may follow this notice.

3/31/2021: Geotech drilling around West Greenhouse area

Geotechnical drilling and boring work is scheduled to occur at five locations in the West Greenhouse area. Work will take place near a section of Campus Way, the West Greenhouse parking lot (lot #3320), and on the west and east sides of the Seed Lab from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Wednesday, March 31, 2021.

3/29-4/16/2021: Possible extended noise and construction activity related to NDUP work

As part of the North District Utility Plant (NDUP) project, work to provide electrical service to the NDUP, located along NW Orchard Avenue, is scheduled to start on Monday, March 29, 2021 through Friday, April 16, 2021. Work could create possible extended construction activity and noise, and/or noise during normal business hours. A roadway closure for SW 26th Street between Campus Way and Monroe Avenue and a partial parking lot closure for the Bates Hall lot (lot #3313) are also scheduled as part of the work.

3/29-3/30/2021: Orchard Ave. House demolition work

The Orchard Ave. House, located at 3036 NW Orchard Avenue, is scheduled for demolition. Demolition work is scheduled to start on Monday, March 29 through Tuesday, March 30, 2021. Work will occur on site from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., daily. Right of Way permits have been obtained from the City of Corvallis and the City of Corvallis has been notified about the demolition. The Wiegand Hall parking lot (lot #3330) as well as the alleyway to NW Orchard Avenue will be impacted while demolition work occurs.

3/22-3/26/21: Partial sidewalk and road closures near Poling Hall

For work related to the Poling Hall Window Replacement project, there will be partial road and sidewalk closures near Poling Hall from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., daily, starting on Monday, March 22, 2021 through Friday, March 26, 2021. The west sidewalk at SW Weatherford Place will be partially obstructed by lifts on Monday, March 22, 2021, while teams measure window dimensions for an upcoming project. Lifts will be partially obstructing the north lane of SW Intramural Lane to facilitate staging and site access throughout the week.
