Due to construction activities related to chilled water piping integration in multiple buildings, a chilled water loop shutdown is scheduled starting on Monday, January 17, 2022 through Friday, January 21, 2022. In the event the work is completed ahead of schedule, services will be restored sooner. The following buildings are included in the shutdown: Nash Hall, the Agricultural & Life Sciences Building, Cordley Hall and the Burt Complex.

Shutdown has been extended until 1/25/22

As part of the Nash Hall Elevator project, the southwest elevator in Nash Hall will be out of service starting on Monday, Aug. 9 through Thursday, Aug. 12, 2021. The northeast elevator in Nash Hall will remain in service during this work. Work includes code-required modifications to fire sprinkler heads and associated electrical systems, which necessitates the temporary shutdown of the water to the fire suppression system and temporary disabling of associated alarms. A final elevator inspection is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2021.

As part of the Nash Hall Elevator project, work is scheduled to modify four sprinkler heads. This requires a temporary shutdown of the water to the fire suppression system as well as temporary disabling of associated alarms. Work is scheduled to take place on the morning of Monday, April 26, 2021. This work does not impact other building utilities.

As part of the Nash Hall Elevator project, a crane pick of elevator equipment is scheduled at Nash Hall, and in the building’s loading dock area and around the access road south of building. The Sackett North Lot (lot #3303) areas around Nash Hall will be impacted. Work is scheduled for Thursday, April 8, 2021.

As part of the Nash Hall Elevator project, smoke detectors are scheduled to be installed on Monday, Jan. 18, 2021. Work is scheduled to start at 8 a.m. through 2 p.m., and will require the fire alarm system to be put in test mode. As part of this work, the fire alarm control panel on the first floor will most likely be emitting a beeping sound. This notice is intended to inform building occupants.
