The domestic water system will be shut down in Weigand Hall February 28, 2026 from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm to tie new lines in. This will affect the domestic water in restrooms, drinking fountains and custodial closets building wide. This will not affect any lab areas.

SW 26th St. will be closed between NW Orchard Ave. and NW Monroe Ave. on Friday, February 27 from 6:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. The east sidewalk in this section of SW 26th St. will be closed. Access to the service entrances, trash and recycling areas at Johnson Hall will also be closed.

The domestic and deionized (DI) water will be shut down in Gilbert Hall on February 28th, 2026, from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm to make valve repairs. This will affect all DI water as well as water in restrooms, custodial closets, sinks & drinking fountains.

Due to a project managed by OSU Athletics at Goss Stadium, SW Washington Way will be closed between SW 17th – SW 26th St. on Monday, February 23 and Tuesday, February 24. The closure will be in effect from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. both days.
The north sidewalk in this section of Washington Way will also be closed. The multi-use path on the south side of Washington Way will remain open as a detour.

Sidewalk repair work will be occurring on SW Memorial Place and SW Monroe Ave. starting on Friday, February 13 – Monday, February 16. Sections of sidwalk will be closed on the west side of SW Memorial Place between Kelley Engineering Center and Plageman Hall and outside of the Lonnie B. Harris Black Cultural Center. A section of sidewalk on the south side of NW Monroe Ave. will also be closed in front of the Lonnie B. Harris Black Cultural Center.

As part of the steam line repair happening near Sackett Hall, paving work will be occurring on SW Jefferson Way on Friday, February 6. SW Jefferson Way will remain open, but traffic will be controlled by flaggers and drivers should expect delays. The work zone will be located at the intersection of SW Jefferson Way and SW Sackett Place, between Sackett Hall and Austin Hall.
The north sidewalk on Jefferson Way will be intermittently closed. The south sidewalk will remain open for pedestrians.
