SW Washington Way will remain closed between SW Benton Place and SW 17th St. through Friday, July 19. The sidewalk on the north side of Washington Way will also be closed in this area.

As part of the Goss Baseball Hitting Building project, SW Washington Way will be closed between SW Benton Place and SW 17th St. starting Thursday, June 20 through Thursday, July 4. The sidewalk on the north side of Washington Way will also be closed in this area.  

The intersections at 17th St. and Benton Place will remain open for north-south vehicle traffic. Vehicles may use Benton Place or 17th St. to detour around the closure area.

Pedestrians traveling eastbound on Washington Way may use the multi-use path on the south side of the street. If using the north sidewalk on Washington Way, pedestrians may cross Washington Way at 17th St. and proceed east on the multi-use path. Pedestrians planning to travel north on Benton Place may take the multi-use path east, cross Washington Way at 15th St. and the proceed west along the north sidewalk to Benton Place.

As part of the Washington Way Improvement project, SW 30th Street will be closed in both directions from SW Washington Way to SW Campus Way. The closure will be in effect starting Monday, June 17 through Friday, June 28. The intersections at Jefferson Way and Campus Way will remain open.

The sidewalks in this section of SW 30th St. will remain open.

Other possible impacts include noise, dust and mud near the work site.

The sidewalk, parking space, alley and parking lot entrance closures around the Pride Center have been extended through Friday, June 14.

Please see schedule below:

Through 6/14: a section of sidewalk on the north side of SW A Ave., directly in front of the Pride Center, will be closed. Pedestrians may use the crosswalk at SW 15th St. and the south sidewalk to detour around the area. (View map)

Through 6/14: the alley behind the Pride Center (SW May Ave.) will be closed along with several parking spaces on the north side of the roadway. Vehicles may enter May Ave. from 15th St. to access the parking lot east of the Pride Center, but no through traffic will be permitted. Vehicles may also enter May Ave. from 17th St. to access the parking lot west of the Pride Center or parking around Cascade Hall, but no through traffic behind the Pride Center will be permitted. Through 6/14: the SW A Ave. entrance to the parking lot west of the Pride Center will be closed. Vehicles may enter the parking lot from the SW 17th St. entrance. The exit lane from the parking lot to A Ave. will remain open.  (View map)

As part of the Jen-Hsun Huang & Lori Mills Huang Collaborative Innovation Complex project, SW Memorial Place will be closed between SW Campus Way and SW Monroe Ave. starting Monday, June 17 through Friday, July 26.  The west sidewalk on Memorial Place will also be closed. The east sidewalk will remain open for pedestrians.

Other potential impacts include noise near the worksite.
