Due to ongoing renovation work at Dixon Recreation Center, SW 26th St. will be fully closed in both directions between Washington Way and Intramural Lane starting on Tuesday, December 16 through Wednesday, December 17. A crane will be working in the area during this time frame.

No vehicle travel through this section of SW 26th St. will be permitted. The east sidewalk on SW 26th St. will be closed. The west sidewalk will remain open for pedestrians. The walkway on the north side of Dixon will be closed as well as the walkway around the sand volleyball courts.

A second closure will occur in the parking area between Dixon and Goss Stadium. Parking spaces and sidewalks in this area will be closed.

The sidewalks and cycle track on Washington Way will remain open.

As part of the Jen-Hsun Huang and Lori Mills Huang Collaborative Innovation Complex project, SW 26th St. will be fully closed in both directions between SW Campus Way and NW Monroe Ave. starting Monday, December 15 through Thursday, December 18. NW Orchard Ave. will also be closed at the intersection with SW 26th St., in front of Wilkinson Hall.

Sidewalks will be closed between NW Orchard Ave. and NW Monroe Ave. Access to the Bates Hall childcare center has been coordinated with the building manager. The Johnson Hall loading dock will be closed.

As part of the steam line project happening near Sackett Hall, SW Jefferson Way will be closed in both directions between SW 26th and SW 30th St. starting Saturday, December 13 – Sunday, January 4. Local access will be allowed from 30th St. for parking at Sackett Hall and from SW 26th St. for parking at the Asian and Pacific Cultural Center.

Pedestrians on SW Jefferson Way will be detoured at Sackett Hall and Austin Hall. The pedestrian detour route will be marked with signage and will utilize sidewalks on SW Sackett Place, Intramural Lane and SW Weatherford Place.

Three significant road closures will be impacting traffic on campus over the OSU winter break (Dec. 15 – Jan. 8). Please see schedule and map below.

  • Full road closure on Jefferson Way at Sackett Place (12/15 – 1/8) – vehicles and pedestrians will be detoured.
  • Full road closure on SW 26th St., Campus Way to Monroe Ave. (12/15 – 12/18) – vehicles and pedestrians will be detoured.
  • Full road closure on SW 26th St., Washington Way to Intramural Lane (12/16 – 12/17) – vehicles and pedestrians will be detoured.

As part of an ongoing waterline replacement project led by the city of Corvallis, SW 35th St. will be fully closed at the railroad crossing starting on Monday, Nov. 24 – Wednesday, Nov. 26. SW Washington Way will also be closed at SW 35th St.

Local access will be maintained for OSU employees. OSU vehicles may travel west on Washington Way, through the closure zone, and cross SW 35th St. to access OSU facilities behind the fire station. 

Emergency vehicle access will be permitted.

Bike lanes will be closed. Sidewalks will remain open.

Due to emergency unexpected removal of a potentially dangerous tree limb, the Southbound Lane of 30th Street between Orchard Ave and Campus Way including the East parking lot exit of Wiegand hall will be closed October 27-28, 2025.

Western Blvd: intermittent lane shifts and lane closures to accommodate work happening near SW Deon Dr. and SW West Hills Blvd. There will be a one-day closure at the intersection of Deon Dr. and Western Blvd. Access to The Retreat will be maintained via Sagebrush Dr. during the intersection closure.
