8/5 – Jefferson Way Closed, Benton Pl. to Waldo Pl. for Crane Activity

As part of the Valley Library Telecommunication Tower project, SW Jefferson Way will be closed between SW Benton Place and SW Waldo Place on Monday, August 5 to allow for crane activity.

The north sidewalk in this section of Jefferson Way will be closed. The south sidewalk will remain open.

Westbound traffic on Jefferson Way will be detoured around the area via Benton Place south to Langton Place. Please see map below.

Other possible impacts include noise near the work site.

Note: Benton Place southbound was previously closed for a separate project but will be reopened for this detour on August 5.

UPDATE: SW Memorial Place Closure Starting 7/31

This is an update to a previous notification.

The schedule for this project has changed. SW Memorial Place will be closed to vehicle and cycle traffic starting July 31 and ending September 12. In addition, the west sidewalk of Memorial Place will be closed to pedestrian traffic.

UPDATE: Washington Way Street & Sidewalk Closed, Benton Pl. to 17th St. through 8/9

SW Washington Way will remain closed between SW Benton Place and SW 17th St. through Friday, August 9. The sidewalk on the north side of Washington Way will also be closed in this area.

SW 26th St. Closed Between Orchard Ave. & Monroe Ave. Starting 7/22

SW 26th St. will be closed to vehicle traffic between NW Orchard Ave. and NW Monroe Ave. starting Monday, July 22 through Friday, August 9. Please see original notification for further details.

7/19: SW Jefferson Way including north and south sidewalks CLOSED between SW 26th St and Waldo Place

SW Jefferson Way be closed between SW 26th St and SW Waldo Place on Friday, July 19 from 7:00 AM until 3:00 pm for a crane to be placed to replace rooftop mechanical equipment. The closure includes both the north and south sidewalks.

7/15-8/2: Stadium Ave. Closed Between Bloss Hall & CH2M Hill Alumni Center

As part of the Bloss Hall Renovation project, a section of SW Stadium Ave. between Bloss Hall and CH2M Hill Alumni Center will be closed starting Monday, July 15 through Friday, August 2. The sidewalk on the west side of Bloss Hall will be also closed along with a section of parking spaces on the west side of Stadium Ave (Bloss Hall West parking lot).
