As part of the ALS Building Controls project, the fume hoods in the Agricultural and Life Sciences Building will be shut down starting Monday, June 24 through Friday, June 28 to allow for exhaust system modifications. This shutdown will affect fume hoods on all floors of the building.

The air pressure system will be shut off, but heating and cooling will still be available in the building.  

Other possible impacts include noise near the work site.

The exhaust and supply air in Johnson Hall will be shut down for maintenance March 30, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.  All fume hood exhaust will be shutdown, sashes should be kept closed. This will also affect heating/cooling of the lab spaces on the north side 2nd and  3rd floors of the building.

The exhaust and supply air in Richardson Hall will be shut down for maintenance March 27, 7:00 am –  March 29, 4:00 pm.  All fume hood exhaust will be shutdown, sashes should be kept closed. This will also affect lab air and building heat throughout the building.

Linus Pauling Science Center building exhaust fans will be shut down to replace several failed fan motors. Building occupants may notice some air pressure fluctuations while work is being performed. Fume hoods should not be used during this time due to decreased air flow and sashes should remain down until EH&S verifies proper operation and removes signage.
