As part of early work for the Jen-Hsun & Lori Huang Collaborative Innovation Complex project, sidewalks on the north, south and east sides of Johnson Hall will be closed to pedestrians from Monday, December 18 through January 5, 2024.

Sidewalks closed on the south, north and east side of Johnson Hall from December 18 until January 5.

As part of the Washington Way Improvement project, SW Washington Way will be closed between SW 15th and SW 17th Streets on Friday, December 15 to allow for pavement striping. The intersections at SW 17th and SW Benton Place will be closed to all vehicle and pedestrian traffic.

The north sidewalk on Washington Way will be closed. The multi-use path on the south side of Washington Way will remain open for pedestrians.

Washington Way remains closed between 17th and 26th Streets under a previous notification.

As part of the Washington Way Improvement project, SW Washington Way between SW 17th & SW 26th Streets will remain closed through Friday, January 5.

In addition to the road closure, the sidewalk on the north side of Washington Way between 17th & 26th Streets will be closed. Pedestrians may use the multi-use path on the south side of Washington Way as a detour.

As part of the Withycombe Hall Renovation project, SW Campus Way will be closed between SW 30th St. and the Agricultural & Life Sciences Building from Monday, December 11 through Saturday, January 6. Emergency access and pre-arranged access to the East Greenhouses will be maintained during this closure.

The north sidewalk in this section of Campus Way will be closed. The south sidewalk and the south side of the brick walkway near ALS will remain open for pedestrians.

As part of the LaSells Stewart Center Mechanical & Roof Renewal Project, a section of SW Stadium Ave., located directly behind The LaSells Stewart Center and just south of Bloss Hall, will be closed to allow for crane activity on Wednesday, December 6 from 8 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. The entrance to SW Stadium Ave. from SW Western Blvd. will be closed. Both the east and west sidewalks on Stadium Ave., directly behind The LaSells Stewart Center, will be closed. A vehicle detour will be available from Western Blvd. along the east and north side of the LaSells Stewart Center East parking lot. 

Please note: Stadium Ave. north of this area is closed under a separate notification for construction activity related to the Bloss Hall Renovation project.

The LaSells Stewart Center East parking lot (#3259) will remain open.

As part of the West Greenhouse Improvement project, a section of the north sidewalk on SW Campus Way will be closed on Monday, December 4 from 9 A.M. to 11 A.M. to allow for construction activities. The closure will be located between the West Greenhouses and the Seed Laboratory.

Pedestrians may detour around the area by using the south sidewalk and the crosswalks located at the Seed Laboratory and SW 30th St.

As part of the Bloss Hall Renovation project, a section SW Stadium Ave., located between CH2M Hill Alumni Center and Bloss Hall, will be closed from Wednesday, November 29 through Friday, January 5. Multiple parking spaces in the Bloss Hall West parking lot (bordering Stadium Ave.) will also be closed.

In addition, the sidewalk on the west side of Bloss Hall will be closed. Other possible impacts include noise, dust and mud near the work site.

Please note: this closure has been extended. As part of the telecommunications project at Valley Library, SW Jefferson Way will be closed between SW Benton Place and SW Waldo Place through Wednesday, November 29 at 12 P.M. Traffic on SW Jefferson Way will be rerouted via SW Benton Place to SW Langton Place.

The north sidewalk on Jefferson Way will be closed between Benton Place and Langton Place. Pedestrians may detour around the area using the south sidewalk. Other possible impacts include noise near the worksite.

As part of the Jen-Hsun & Lori Huang Collaborative Innovation Complex project, a section of the west sidewalk along SW Park Terrace Place will be permanently closed to allow for ongoing construction activities. The closure will begin Thursday, November 30. The impacted sidewalk section is located just north of Johnson Hall. This will be a permanent closure as the area undergoes construction related to the Huang Collaborative Innovation Complex.

The east sidewalk will be open for pedestrians. Other possible impacts include noise, dust and mud near the work site.

As part of the LaSells Stewart Center Mechanical and Roof Renewal project, a section of the northbound lane on SW 26th St. will be closed on Thursday, November 30th from 7 A.M. to 5 P.M. to allow for crane activity. The lane closure will be located between the intersection with SW Western Blvd. and The LaSells Stewart Center.

In addition, the traffic signals at the intersection of 26th St. and Western Blvd. will be shut down during this closure. Flaggers will be present at the intersection to direct traffic through the area.

The east sidewalk on 26th St. will be closed between Western Blvd. and the CH2M Alumni Center. The west sidewalk will remain open for pedestrians. The walkway on the north side of The LaSells Stewart Center will also be closed. Other possible impacts include noise near the work site.
