11/21 & 11/22: Campus Wide Parking Lot Closures for Leaf Clean-up

Beginning next week, parking lots across campus will be temporarily closed for leaf clean-up. The closures will be divided between Tuesday, November 21 and Wednesday, November 22. Each lot will be reopened as the work is completed. Please contact Transportation Services at (541) 737-2583 if you require assistance with alternate parking arrangements.

Other possible impacts include noise, dust and mud near the work areas.

Please refer to the lists below for specific parking lots and dates.

10/27: Kerr Admin Bldg. South Parking Lot Closure extended until 12/4

As part of the Kerr Administration South Parking Lot Improvement project, the Kerr South parking lot closure has been extended until December 4, 2023, to finish construction activities, including lighting installation, paving and striping. This includes the closure of the west sidewalk. ADA access is available on the east side of the building.

10/17 & 10/23: Partial Closure of Sackett Hall North Parking Lot

As part of the Nash Hall Cooling Tower Replacement project, the Sacket Hall North parking lot (#3303) will be partially closed on Tuesday, October 17 and Monday, October 23 to allow for crane activity. The closure will impact parking spaces on the east side of the lot, closest to Nash Hall. The south-west basement and south first floor entrances to Nash Hall will also be closed. The north-east entrance and the loading dock will remain open.

In addition, the walkway that runs along the west side of Nash Hall will also be closed. Pedestrians may detour around the area via walkways on the south, east and north sides of the building.

UPDATE: Parking Areas, Sidewalk and Basketball Courts at Student Legacy Park Closed Through October 12.

This is an update to a previous notification.

The Student Legacy Park fields and tennis courts have reopened, but other areas within the park will remain closed through October 12.

The parking areas and sidewalk on SW Washington Way will remain closed through October 12 along with the basketball courts.

While the entry points to the park along Washington Way will remain closed, access to the park will be available from SW 26th St., SW Intramural Lane and SW 30th St. ADA parking spaces will be available on 30th St., on 26th St. in front of Dixon Recreation Center and on Intramural Lane.

Extended through 9/18: Richardson & Dryden Hall parking lot closed for improvements

This is an update to a previous notification.

As part of the 2023 Parking Lot Improvement Program, the parking lot south of Richardson Hall and west of Dryden Hall (parking lot # 3341) will be closed for improvements through Monday, September 18. This closure includes access drives off SW 30th Street and SW Washington Way. These improvements will, at times, cause noise and dust.

Parking lots south of Richardson Hall and west of Dryden Hall are closed for improvements through September 18, 2023.

8/25 – SW Stadium Ave. & B2 Parking Lot CLOSED Behind The LaSells Stewart Center

As part of the LaSells Stewart Center Mechanical & Roof Renewal Project, a section of SW Stadium Ave. located directly behind The LaSells Stewart Center and just south of Bloss Hall will be closed to allow for crane activity on Friday, August 25 from 7 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. The B2 parking lot east of The LaSells Stewart Center will also be closed. The entrance to SW Stadium Ave. from SW Western Blvd. will be closed. Both the east and west sidewalks on Stadium Ave. directly behind The LaSells Stewart Center will be closed. A vehicle detour will be available from Western Blvd. along the east and north side of the LaSells Stewart Center East parking lot.

8/1-8/3: Parking lot closures near ILLC, Women’s Building and Sackett Hall

As part of the Summer 2023 Parking Lot Renewal project, three parking lots will be closed for renewal from August 1 – August 3. The lots include the International Living Learning Center lot (#3288), the Women’s Building West lot (#3310) and the Sackett Hall North lot (#3303).

As part of the 2023 Parking Lot Improvement Program, the parking lot north of Beaver Beginnings Child Care Center (parking lot # 3207) will be closed for improvements for the month of August. These improvements will, at times, cause noise and dust.
