Update: The closure for parking lot #3221 has been extended through Thursday, March 17, 2022 for paving work.

As part of the Graf Hall Renovation, the Monroe Ave. and 16^th Street parking lot (lot #3221) will be closed for paving and ground floor entries to the building will be inaccessible. Excavation and forming for the concrete work will start on Monday, March 7, 2022 and will continue through the paving of the lot. The parking lot will now be closed starting on Thursday, March 10, 2022. Please use caution and watch for workers and equipment in the parking lot during this time.

The south entrance to Graf Hall (on the parking lot side) will be closed starting Monday, March 7. The north building entrance, located along Monroe Ave., will remain open for pedestrians.

As part of the Graf Hall Renovation Project, excavation and utility vault work is scheduled to take place in the Monroe Ave. & 16^th St. parking lot (lot #3221) from 7 a.m. on Monday, February 28 through 3:30 p.m. on Friday, March 4, 2022. Please use caution when walking and driving in the parking lot and drive aisles.

As part of the Graf Hall Renovation Project, the Monroe Ave. & 16^th St. parking lot (lot #3221) is scheduled to be closed from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 17, 2022. A crane lift will be set up in the parking lot area.

As part of the Graf Hall Renovation Project, work to connect a storm drain between Graf Hall and Rogers Hall is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 17, 2022. Vehicle access via the ramp from the Monroe Ave. & 16^th St. parking lot (lot #3221) to the lower level will be restricted and pedestrians won’t be able to access the lower level area while work is taking place.

As part of the Graf Hall Renovation Project, a vacuum truck will be working on the north side of Graf Hall from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Thursday, February 17, 2022. This work will obstruct part of NW Monroe Avenue as well as a portion of the sidewalk. The contractor will be onsite to route traffic around the vacuum truck and direct pedestrians across NW Monroe Avenue while work is being performed.

As part of the Graf Hall Renovation Project, the Monroe Ave and 16^th Street parking lot (lot #3221), located south of Graf Hall, will be closed to facilitate crane activity. The closure is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, January 25, 2022. Pedestrian traffic will be restricted.

A planned shutdown for the elevator located in Rogers Hall is scheduled to start on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 through Friday, February 25, 2022. Renovation work will be performed during the shutdown. Impacted buildings include Rogers Hall, Graf Hall and Dearborn Hall.

Rogers Hall area map

As part of the Graf Hall Renovation Project, a section of sidewalk on the north side of Graf Hall will be closed for excavation work for a new sidewalk and building entry. During the closure, pedestrian traffic will be routed to the north side of Monroe Avenue. The closure is scheduled to start on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 through Friday, January 14, 2022.

As part of the Graf Hall Renovation Project, a section of sidewalk along NW Monroe Ave. on the north side of Graf Hall will be closed for the removal of an underground storage tank near the building. The closure will be in place daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. starting on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 through Thursday, December 16, 2021. Signage and flaggers will be provided when needed for intermittent street and sidewalk restrictions.

Graf Hall area map

As part of the Graf Hall Renovation Project, the contractor for the project will be doing excavation work below the pedestrian bridge between Graf Hall and Rogers Hall. They will also be doing overhead steel work on the bridge. While this work is ongoing, pedestrian traffic in the area will be restricted. Work is scheduled to start on Monday, December 6, 2021 through Friday, December 10, 2021.
