12/15 – 1/8: Winter Break Road Closures on Campus

Three significant road closures will be impacting traffic on campus over the OSU winter break (Dec. 15 – Jan. 8). Please see schedule and map below.

  • Full road closure on Jefferson Way at Sackett Place (12/15 – 1/8) – vehicles and pedestrians will be detoured.
  • Full road closure on SW 26th St., Campus Way to Monroe Ave. (12/15 – 12/18) – vehicles and pedestrians will be detoured.
  • Full road closure on SW 26th St., Washington Way to Intramural Lane (12/16 – 12/17) – vehicles and pedestrians will be detoured.

Please note: SW 26th St. will be closed in two different locations on 12/16 and 12/17. Please plan travel routes accordingly.

Smaller impact projects will also be ongoing over the next several weeks. Campus Notifications will send further details on each closure as information becomes available.

12/8 – 12/12: Sidewalk Closed at Jefferson Way & Sackett Place

Due to ongoing steam line work near Sackett Hall, the sidewalk at the intersection of SW Jefferson Way and Sackett Place will be closed (north side of Jefferson Way). The south sidewalk on Jefferson Way will remain open for pedestrians.

Other possible impacts include noise, dust and mud near the work zone.

12/4/25: Sidewalk Closure West Side of Strand Agriculture Building 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Due to contractor work being performed in the area outside Strand Agriculture Building the area in the yellow dotted line area will be impacted by construction work and the sidewalks will be partially closed for access (see map) Thursday, December 4, 2025 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
