As part of the construction work to replace a steam line between Austin Hall and Sackett Hall, a crane will be set up at Sackett Place on Thursday, November 13, all day. There will no access for parking or deliveries. Deliveries to LInC will be rerouted to the EH&S Annex for the day.  Alternate pedestrian routes will be noted with signs.

The domestic cold water will be shut down in the basement of Gilbert Hall Addition November 7th, 2025, from 6:00 am – 10:00 am to allow for water valve repairs.  This will affect water building throughout the basement in all labs, restrooms, breakrooms & custodial closets. Water and compressed air to the 1st floor labs will be shut down in Richardson Hall November 10th, 2025, from 6:30am – 9:30am to relocated lab water and compressed air valve. As part of a waterline replacement project led by the city of Corvallis, portions of SW 35th St. between SW Western Blvd. and Washington Way will be closed Monday, November 3 through Friday, November 7.  

  • Intermittent lane closures and traffic pattern changes may be in place on SW 35th St. During full closures thru traffic will detour.
  • Access the Western Building and Shops parking lot will be maintained from either the north or the south depending on how the work is progressing. 
  •  Washington Way will remain open to thru traffic at 35th Street, except for when trench paving is occurring. A closure of Washington Way at 35th Street is expected to be a limited duration (2 hours).

The sidewalk on the West side of Fairbanks Hall from the Southwest corner of the building to the entrance on the West side of the building and the 1st Floor West Side Entrance of Fairbanks Hall will be closed on Tuesday, November 4 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for boom lift equipment and work on the skylight.
