11/29 – 1/5: Stadium Ave. Closed Between CH2M Hill Alumni Center & Bloss Hall

As part of the Bloss Hall Renovation project, a section SW Stadium Ave., located between CH2M Hill Alumni Center and Bloss Hall, will be closed from Wednesday, November 29 through Friday, January 5. Multiple parking spaces in the Bloss Hall West parking lot (bordering Stadium Ave.) will also be closed.

In addition, the sidewalk on the west side of Bloss Hall will be closed. Other possible impacts include noise, dust and mud near the work site.

The map shows a road closure on SW Stadium Ave. between CH2M Hill Alumni Center and Bloss Hall. The sidewalk on the west side of Bloss Hall is marked as closed. Multiple parking spaces in the Bloss Hall West parking lot are marked as closed.

UPDATED: SW Jefferson Way Closure Between SW Benton Place & SW Waldo Place – Extended Through 11/29

This is an update to a previous notification.

Please note: this closure has been extended. As part of the telecommunications project at Valley Library, SW Jefferson Way will be closed between SW Benton Place and SW Waldo Place through Wednesday, November 29 at 12 P.M. Traffic on SW Jefferson Way will be rerouted via SW Benton Place to SW Langton Place.

The north sidewalk on Jefferson Way will be closed between Benton Place and Langton Place. Pedestrians may detour around the area using the south sidewalk. Other possible impacts include noise near the worksite.

11/30: Sidewalk Closed On Park Terrace Place Near Johnson Hall

As part of the Jen-Hsun & Lori Huang Collaborative Innovation Complex project, a section of the west sidewalk along SW Park Terrace Place will be permanently closed to allow for ongoing construction activities. The closure will begin Thursday, November 30. The impacted sidewalk section is located just north of Johnson Hall. This will be a permanent closure as the area undergoes construction related to the Huang Collaborative Innovation Complex.

The east sidewalk will be open for pedestrians. Other possible impacts include noise, dust and mud near the work site.

The map shows a sidewalk closure on the west side of SW Park Terrace Place, just north of Johnson Hall. The east sidewalk is marked as open.

11/30 – Lane Closure on 26th Near LaSells & Flagged Intersection at Western

As part of the LaSells Stewart Center Mechanical and Roof Renewal project, a section of the northbound lane on SW 26th St. will be closed on Thursday, November 30th from 7 A.M. to 5 P.M. to allow for crane activity. The lane closure will be located between the intersection with SW Western Blvd. and The LaSells Stewart Center.

In addition, the traffic signals at the intersection of 26th St. and Western Blvd. will be shut down during this closure. Flaggers will be present at the intersection to direct traffic through the area.

The east sidewalk on 26th St. will be closed between Western Blvd. and the CH2M Alumni Center. The west sidewalk will remain open for pedestrians. The walkway on the north side of The LaSells Stewart Center will also be closed. Other possible impacts include noise near the work site.

As part of the Pride Center Renovation project, a section of the north sidewalk on SW A Avenue, between SW 15th and SW 16th Streets, will be closed to allow for construction activity on Monday, November 27 from 7 A.M. until Tuesday, November 28 at 4:00 P.M.

Pedestrians may cross A Avenue at either 15th or 16th Street and use the south sidewalk as a detour.

The map shows a sidewalk closure on the north side of SW A Avenue, between SW 15th and SW 16th Streets. A pedestrian detour is marked at the intersections with 15th and 16th Streets and along the south sidewalk.

As part of the Pride Center Renovation project, a section of the north sidewalk on SW A Avenue, between SW 15th and SW 16th Streets, will be closed to allow for construction activity on Wednesday, November 22 from 7 A.M. to 3:30 P.M.

Pedestrians may cross A Avenue at either 15th or 16th Street and use the south sidewalk as a detour.

11/21 & 11/22: Campus Wide Parking Lot Closures for Leaf Clean-up

Beginning next week, parking lots across campus will be temporarily closed for leaf clean-up. The closures will be divided between Tuesday, November 21 and Wednesday, November 22. Each lot will be reopened as the work is completed. Please contact Transportation Services at (541) 737-2583 if you require assistance with alternate parking arrangements.

Other possible impacts include noise, dust and mud near the work areas.

As part of the Pride Center Renovation project, a section of the north sidewalk on SW A Avenue, between SW 15th and SW 16th Streets, will be closed to allow for construction activity on Friday, November 17. Several parking spaces in front of the Pride Center will also be closed.

Pedestrians may cross A Avenue at either 15th or 16th Street and use the south sidewalk as a detour.

11/16-11/17: Intermittent Delays on SW 15th St. Near Kerr Admin Building

As part of the Kerr South Parking Lot project, there will be intermittent delays on SW 15th St. due to construction activities on Thursday, November 16 and Friday, November 17. A single lane will be closed at a time, with traffic being allowed to pass through the opposite lane. Flaggers will be present to direct traffic. The impacted area will be between SW Washington Ave. and SW Adams Ave. near the Kerr Administration Building and Callahan Hall. Drivers should expect delays between 9 A.M. and 3 P.M. on both days.

A section of the sidewalk on the west side of 15th St., just north of the work area, is closed under a previous notification along with the crosswalk at SW Adams Ave. The east sidewalk will remain open for pedestrians. Other possible impacts include noise near the work site.
