9/19/2022: Electrical outage scheduled for Snell Hall and McAlexander Fieldhouse from 5:30-7:30 a.m.

For work related to the Snell Hall low-rise 080 completion project, an electrical shutdown is scheduled from 5:30-7:30 a.m. on Monday, September 19, 2022. Impacted buildings include Snell Hall and McAlexander Fieldhouse.

What do you need to do to prepare for this outage? Please make sure that all computers, printers, copiers, and other electronic devices are turned off prior to the start of the scheduled stand-by generator testing. 9/14/2022: Cascade Hall stair construction work and crane setup

As part of the Cascade Hall exterior stair replacement project, crane work to place exterior stairs on the south side of Cascade Hall will occur on Wednesday, September 14, 2022. A section of parking in this area will be closed while work takes place. The exterior stairs to the second floor of the building will re-open on Thursday, September 15, 2022.

9/13/2022: Traffic flow changes along Intramural Way

Intramural Way will be reconfigured from two-way traffic to a one-way westbound only sharrow lane with a contra flow bike lane eastbound from 26th Street to Sacket Place. OSU will also be installing break-away bollards at the north and south ends of Weatherford Place that will allow for fire access but restrict vehicle circulation. The installation of these improvements should be completed by end of day on Tuesday, September 13, 2022. Please note that Intramural Way will be closed through Tuesday, September 13.

9/12-/9/13/2022: Glass repair work scheduled at George W. Peavy Forest Science Center

From Monday, September 12, 2022 through Tuesday, September 13, 2022, contractors will be onsite at George W. Peavy Forest Science Center replacing a pane of glass on the third floor of the building. A 60-foot lift will be onsite and the sidewalk located on the east side of the building in the small arboretum area will be roped off. Pedestrians can access the building from the north entrance.

9/14/2022: Notice: Scheduled closure for parking lot #3316 along Orchard Ave

For work related to the Withycombe Hall renovation project, a closure is scheduled for parking lot #3316 (Orchard Ave. South Lot), located just north of Withycombe Hall along Orchard Ave., to allow for a construction trailer move in. The closure is scheduled from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, September 14, 2022.

9/13/2022: Fire alarming testing scheduled for Graf Hall

For work related to the Graf Hall renovation and Rogers Hall elevator projects, fire alarm testing is scheduled between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 in Graf Hall. Fire alarm testing is expected to last approx. 10 minutes. Alarms in Graf Hall may be heard in other nearby buildings.

9/14/2022: Cordley West stand-by generator testing scheduled

For work related to the Cordley Hall Renovation Project, stand-by generator testing will take place on Cordley Hall’s west side. The testing will cause AC power interruptions and impact the building’s primary power. Testing is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Wednesday, September 14, 2022.
