For work related to the Coast Range Building renovation, a planned power outage is scheduled from 7-8:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2022. During the planned outage, electrical connections will be added for the relocating of -80F freezers.

Electrical reroute work related to the Completing Reser Stadium project is scheduled to start on Monday, December 6, 2021 through Sunday, December 19, 2021. There will be temporary parking lot impacts for the Reser Stadium Lot (lot #3281) and the Valley Football Center Lot (lot #3284). Thirteen standard parking spaces and six ADA spaces will be impacted. Alternative ADA parking spaces will be provided.

As part of the Cordley Hall Renewal project, PacifiCorp will be conducting work along NW Orchard Avenue. Expect intermittent traffic interruptions along NW Orchard Avenue between 30th and 26th streets. Traffic control will be in place and traffic interruptions will be short. Work is scheduled to take place daily from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, November 4 and Friday, November 5, 2021.

As part of the Nash Hall Elevator project, the southwest elevator in Nash Hall will be out of service starting on Monday, Aug. 9 through Thursday, Aug. 12, 2021. The northeast elevator in Nash Hall will remain in service during this work. Work includes code-required modifications to fire sprinkler heads and associated electrical systems, which necessitates the temporary shutdown of the water to the fire suppression system and temporary disabling of associated alarms. A final elevator inspection is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2021.

Pacific Power crews will be on campus Monday, June 21, 2021, to perform maintenance work in a vault and on a transformer. Line trucks will be blocking a roadway lane at the southwest corner of SW Campus Way and SW 30th Street. Pacific Power will have flaggers to control traffic. Work will occur from approximately 9:30am-3:30pm.
This work will not require an electrical outage.

For work related to Pacific Power system upgrades, Pacific Power will perform electrical trenching and drilling work from Monday, April 19 through Monday, May 31, 2021. Electrical trenching and drilling work will start at the intersection of 35th Street and SW Washington Way on Monday, April 19, with work occurring on both sides of SW Washington Way between 35th Street and 30th Street through the end of May. Work will progress from west to east along SW Washington Way. This work supports Pacific Power’s power infrastructure and prepares for future upgrades to SW Washington Way.

As part of the Magruder Hall Renovation and Addition, chiller 4 at Magruder Hall is scheduled to be shut down for wiring work (view map). The shutdown is scheduled to start on Thursday, Nov. 5 through Saturday, Nov. 7, 2020. The chiller will be off for a total of three days. The main panel will be turned off and a planned electrical shutdown for the building will occur for approximately two hours on Saturday, Nov. 7.

As part of the Nash Elevator Project, work will be done to remove and replace an electrical panel in Nash Hall. This will impact the Reverse Osmosis De-Ionized water system in Nash Hall. Work is scheduled to occur all day on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2020.
