10/17 & 10/23: Partial Closure of Sackett Hall North Parking Lot

As part of the Nash Hall Cooling Tower Replacement project, the Sacket Hall North parking lot (#3303) will be partially closed on Tuesday, October 17 and Monday, October 23 to allow for crane activity. The closure will impact parking spaces on the east side of the lot, closest to Nash Hall. The south-west basement and south first floor entrances to Nash Hall will also be closed. The north-east entrance and the loading dock will remain open.

In addition, the walkway that runs along the west side of Nash Hall will also be closed. Pedestrians may detour around the area via walkways on the south, east and north sides of the building.

The walkway on the west side of Nash Hall is also marked as closed. A pedestrian detour is marked along the south, east and north sides of Nash Hall. Two entrances to the building on the south and south west sides are marked as closed. Access to the parking lot is shown from SW 30th St.

10/3 – Northbound Lane & Sidewalk Closure on 26th St. Near The LaSells Stewart Center

As part of the LaSells Stewart Center Mechanical and Roof Renewal project, a section of the northbound lane on SW 26th St., between SW Western Blvd. and The LaSells Stewart Center, will be closed to allow for crane activity on Tuesday, October 3 from 7 A.M. to 2 P.M. Flaggers will be present in the area to direct traffic.

In addition, a section of the sidewalk on the east side of 26th St. will be closed along with the crosswalk near the front entrance and the walkway on the north side of The LaSells Stewart Center. The west sidewalk will remain open for pedestrians.

A section of the east sidewalk, between SW Western Blvd. and the CH2M HILL Alumni Center, is marked as closed. The crosswalk near the front entrance of The LaSells Stewart Center is marked as closed.

9/18 – SW Stadium Ave. CLOSED Behind The LaSells Stewart Center

As part of the LaSells Stewart Center Mechanical & Roof Renewal Project, a section of SW Stadium Ave., located directly behind The LaSells Stewart Center and just south of Bloss Hall, will be closed to allow for crane activity on Monday, September 18 from 7 A.M. to 2 P.M. The entrance to SW Stadium Ave. from SW Western Blvd. will be closed. Both the east and west sidewalks on Stadium Ave., directly behind The LaSells Stewart Center, will be closed. A vehicle detour will be available from Western Blvd. along the east and north side of the LaSells Stewart Center East parking lot. 

The LaSells Stewart Center East parking lot (#3259) will remain open during this closure.

9/14 – Sidewalk/Parking Closure on Jefferson Way Near Memorial Union

As part of the Memorial Union Roof & Gutter project, the sidewalk on the north side of SW Jefferson Way, directly in front of Memorial Union, will be intermittently closed on Thursday, September 14 to allow for crane activity. The south sidewalk will remain open for pedestrians.

Additionally, the loading zone and 30-minute parking spaces on Jefferson Way, in front of Memorial Union, will also be closed.  The street will remain open for vehicle traffic.

The map shows a sidewalk closure in front of Memorial Union, on the north side of SW Jefferson Way. The area is marked as intermittently closed on September 14, 2023.
