For work related to the Completing Reser Stadium project, the temporary closure of 13 parking spaces just west of the Valley Football Center (Lot #3284) will allow for paving work to take place. The temporary parking closure is scheduled from 8 a.m.-5p.m. on Monday, February 14, 2022.

Reser Stadium Zone 3 area map

The following updates are related to buildings and facilities located in the Community Hall Slope Project area. The west side of the Pharmacy Building will be open starting on Monday, February 7, 2022. The area between the Pharmacy Building, Joyce Collin Furman Hall and Gladys Valley will be closed to all access with the exception of the ADA entrance to the Pharmacy Building. The ADA entrance to Joyce Collin Furman Hall will be from the East. Due to the extent of the construction, the exact ADA pathway to the Pharmacy Building will vary. These access updates will be in place through Thursday, September 1, 2022.

Community Hall Slope Project area map

For work related to the Completing Reser Stadium project, the South Reser parking lot entrance/exit to SW 26th Street will be temporarily moved to the south to allow for construction of the new wellness center. Both entrance and exit will be limited to one lane with a detour in place once in the parking lot. The existing crosswalk will be closed and a new temporary crosswalk will be added across SW 26th Street. Additional pedestrian crossings will be added in the parking lot to ensure safe crossing around the construction site. Five ADA spaces have been temporarily relocated to the adjacent drive aisle. The parking lot and crosswalk modifications are scheduled to start on Monday, February 14, 2022 through Sunday, January 1, 2023.

For work related to the Community Hall Slope Project, a planned water shutdown at Joyce Collin Furman Hall originally scheduled for Thursday, February 3, 2022 from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. has been postponed. The water shutdown will be rescheduled and a new notice will be sent out with more details in the future.

Joyce Collin Furman Hall area map

As part of the Graf Hall Renovation Project, the Monroe Ave and 16th Street parking lot (lot #3221), located south of Graf Hall, will be closed to facilitate crane activity. The closure is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, January 25, 2022. Pedestrian traffic will be restricted.

As part of the 20 & 21 West Greenhouse project, a portion of one lane of SW Campus Way will be closed to traffic between SW 30th and 35th Streets for concrete work at the adjacent sidewalk. The closure is scheduled from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily on Monday, January 24, 2022 and Tuesday, January 25, 2022. The below map shows the street lane closure area and ongoing pedestrian sidewalk detours. One lane of the road is needed to stage the concrete and pump trucks to pour a new retaining wall, sidewalk/ramp, and stairs. Flaggers will be onsite to direct traffic using the other lane in this area. The two-lane street will not be fully closed. Wednesday, January 26, 2022 will be used as a backup day if weather delays concrete pours.

For work related to the Completing Reser Stadium project, an extended parking closure is scheduled in the Zone 2 area of the Reser Stadium parking lot. The far west passage lane in the parking lot near Oak Creek behind Reser Stadium’s west side will remain closed for continuing cleanup of the implosion debris. The extended closure is scheduled to start on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 through Sunday, January 16, 2022.

For work related to the Arts and Education Complex project, there will be an extended closure of 10 parking spaces along SW Benton Place just west of the old heat plant. The extended closure is scheduled to start on Friday, January 14, 2022 through Wednesday, January 31, 2024.

Due to construction activities related to chilled water piping integration in multiple buildings, a chilled water loop shutdown is scheduled starting on Monday, January 17, 2022 through Friday, January 21, 2022. In the event the work is completed ahead of schedule, services will be restored sooner. The following buildings are included in the shutdown: Nash Hall, the Agricultural & Life Sciences Building, Cordley Hall and the Burt Complex.

Shutdown has been extended until 1/25/22

For work related to the Completing Reser Stadium project, southbound traffic along SW 26th Street near the entrance to the Reser Stadium Parking lot will be diverted into the northbound lane while excavation and pipe installation work is occurring in the closed lane. Flaggers will be used at three locations to separate vehicular traffic from construction workers and equipment. SW 26th Street, access to the Reser Stadium parking lot and adjacent lots will be accessible. All lanes of traffic will reopen at end of shift each day. Construction activities and lane closures will occur between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. daily from Monday, January 10, 2022 through Friday, January 14, 2022.
