Update on the Washington Way Improvement Project: SW Washington Way between SW 17 and SW 26^th Streets will be reopening for all motor vehicle, bicycle and pedestrian traffic on Monday, January 8. The active work zone on Washington Way will shift to the west and the street and north sidewalk will remain closed between 26^th and 30^th Streets.

Cycle Track Opening: as part of the project, a two-way, dedicated cycle track will be constructed on Washington Way between 15^th and 35^th Streets. The cycle track section between 17^th and 26^th Streets will be opening on Monday, January 8. Because the cycle track between 15^th and 17^th Streets is not yet complete, temporary pavement markings will direct cyclists traveling eastbound to exit the cycle track at SW Benton Place and cross traffic to rejoin the existing bicycle lane.
