Update – The contractor has provided an update that repairs to the chiller should be completed in 4 to 5 weeks
Emergency Shutdown Notice – The Kerr Administration Building chiller was damaged due to the power outage that occurred on 8/31. This will affect cooling for the entire building. Facilities Services is currently working to source replacement parts. A restoral date is unknown at this time, but updates will be sent out when they are available.

As part of the West Greenhouse Improvement Project, a section of the north sidewalk located just west of the Seed Laboratory will be closed for repair on Friday, September 8 from 6:30 A.M. to 4 P.M.
Pedestrians approaching from the east may take the north sidewalk to the crosswalk on the east side of the Seed Laboratory and then proceed down the south sidewalk to 35th St.
Pedestrians approaching from the west may take the south sidewalk to the crosswalk on the east side of the Seed Laboratory and then proceed down the north sidewalk to 30th St.

As part of the Kelley District Utility Plant project, SW Campus Way will be closed between SW 26th St. and SW Memorial Place on Thursday, September 7 and Friday, September 8 to allow for crane activity. The south entrance to Kelley Engineering Center will also be closed.
The north sidewalk on Campus Way will be closed between 26th St. and Memorial Place. The south sidewalk will remain open.
Other possible impacts include noise near the work site.

As part of the LaSells Stewart Center Mechanical & Roof Renewal Project, a section of SW Stadium Ave., located directly behind The LaSells Stewart Center and just south of Bloss Hall, will be closed to allow for crane activity on Thursday, September 7 from 7 A.M. to 12 P.M. The entrance to SW Stadium Ave. from SW Western Blvd. will be closed. Both the east and west sidewalks on Stadium Ave. directly behind The LaSells Stewart Center will be closed. A vehicle detour will be available from Western Blvd. along the east and north side of the LaSells Stewart Center East parking lot.
The LaSells Stewart Center East parking lot (#3259) will remain open during this closure.

As part of the Washington Way Improvement project, SW Washington Way between SW 26th & SW 30th Streets will be closed through Tuesday, September 5. In addition, SW 26th St. will be closed between SW Ralph Miller Lane and SW Intramural Lane.
The south and west crosswalks at the intersection of 26th St. and Washington Way will remain open during this closure. The crosswalk on 26th St. at the OSU Beaver Store will also remain open.
A section of the east sidewalk on 26th St., near Dixon Recreation Center, will be closed. Pedestrians may use the west sidewalk, across from Dixon, to detour around the work site. The crosswalk on 26th St. at the entrance to Dixon will also remain open.

As part of the 2023 Parking Lot Improvement Program, the parking lot south of Richardson Hall and west of Dryden Hall (parking lot # 3341) will be closed for improvements through Monday, September 18. This closure includes access drives off SW 30th Street and SW Washington Way. These improvements will, at times, cause noise and dust.

As part of the LaSells Stewart Center Mechanical and Roof Renewal project, a section of the northbound lane on SW 26th St., between SW Western Blvd. and The LaSells Stewart Center, will be closed to allow for crane activity on Thursday, August 31 from 7 A.M. to 2 P.M. Flaggers will be present in the area to direct traffic.
In addition, a section of the sidewalk on the east side of 26th St. will be closed along with the crosswalk near the front entrance and the walkway on the north side of The LaSells Stewart Center. The west sidewalk will remain open for pedestrians.

The domestic water will be shut down in Gleeson Hall August 28, 2023 from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm to install a valve. This will affect the restrooms in rooms 007, 107, 209 & 311.
