As part of the Goss Baseball Hitting Building project, a section of the southbound lane on Benton Place will be closed intermittently on Wednesday, April 10 and Thursday, April 11. Flaggers will be present to direct traffic through the area. The closure area will be located near the intersection at Washington Way.

Six street parking spaces will be closed on the west side of Benton Place.

In addition, the west sidewalk on Benton Place will be closed between Langton Place and Washington Way, starting near Snell Hall. Pedestrians may use the south sidewalk on Langton Place, the walkway on the west side of Goss Stadium and the north sidewalk on Washington Way to detour around the closure.

Other possible impacts include noise near the worksite.

As part of the Pride Center Renovation project, intermittent closures of roadways and sidewalks will continue to impact the area from Saturday, April 6 through Friday, April 12.

There are three closure areas to be aware of:

  • A section of the north sidewalk on A Avenue, bordering the Pride Center, will be closed, 4/6 – 4/10. Pedestrians may use the south sidewalk as a detour.
  • A section of May Avenue, behind the Pride Center, will be intermittently closed, 4/8 – 4/10.
  • The entry lane to the parking lot west of the Pride Center, off of A Avenue, will be intermittently closed, 4/8 – 4/12. The parking lot will remain open and an alternate entrance is available off of 17th St.
The map shows three closure areas around the OSU Pride Center work site. The entry lane of the parking lot west of the Pride Center is marked as intermittently closed from April 8 through April 12. The sidewalk and parking space closures associated with construction work at the Pride Center have been extended through Friday, April 5.

The sidewalk and parking spaces bordering the Pride Center, on the north side of SW A Ave., will be closed to repair the sidewalk and install lighting. Pedestrians may use the south sidewalk along SW A Ave. as a detour.

The map shows a closure at the SW A Ave. entrance to the parking lot west of the Pride Center. Alternate entrances are marked on SW 15th and SW 17th Streets. Additionally, the sidewalk and street parking spaces bordering the Pride Center on the north side of A Ave. are marked as closed. The south sidewalk is marked as a pedestrian detour.

As part of the Withycombe Hall Renovation project, the south sidewalk on NW Orchard Ave. between NW 27th and NW 30th St. will be closed starting Wednesday, April 3 through Wednesday, April 10. Pedestrians may use the north sidewalk as a detour.

As part of the Kelley District Utility Plant project, a section of the west sidewalk and bicycle lane on SW Memorial Place will be closed on Friday, March 22 from 5 – 9 A.M. The closures will be located between Kelley Engineering Center and Plageman Student Health Center.

Three service parking spaces on the east side of Memorial Place will also be closed.

Other possible impacts include noise near the work site.

As part of the Fairbanks Hall Renovation project, the Fairbanks Hall West parking lot will be closed starting Thursday, March 21 through Friday, March 29 for gutter work on the building. All ADA parking spaces in the parking lot will be closed.

The sidewalks and walkways bordering Fairbanks Hall on all sides of the building will be closed in phases to allow for equipment to be maneuvered around the area. These closures will be intermittent. This includes the walkways on the north and west sides of Fairbanks Hall, the west sidewalk on 26th St.  and the north sidewalk on Jefferson Way.

Staff will be present in the area to help pedestrians navigate around the sidewalk closures. Pedestrians may use the east sidewalk on 26th St., the south sidewalk on Jefferson Way or the walkway west of the Asian & Pacific Cultural Center as alternate routes.

Access to the parking lot will be available for trash and recycling pickup.

As part of the Patricia Valian Reser Center for the Creative Arts project, the west sidewalk on SW Benton Place will be closed between SW Langton Place and SW Washington Way starting Tuesday, March 19 through Friday, March 22. Three street parking spaces will also be closed near the intersection of Benton Place and Washington Way.

Pedestrian detour

  • From Washington Way: take Washington Way east to 15th St., proceed north to Jefferson Way and then west to Benton Place. Use the west sidewalk on Benton Place to travel south to Langton Place.
  • From Langton Place: using the west sidewalk, take Benton Place north to Jefferson Way. Travel east to 15th St. and proceed south to Washington Way.
  • From Jefferson Way: take Jefferson Way east to 15th St. and proceed south to Washington Way

Other possible impacts include noise near the work site.

As part of the Kelly District Utility Plant project, Campus Way will be closed between 26th St. and Memorial Place starting Tuesday, March 12 through Friday, March 15 to allow for crane activity. The south entrance of Kelley Engineering Center will be closed.

The north sidewalk in this section of Campus Way will be closed to pedestrians. The south sidewalk will remain open as a detour.

The map shows a road and sidewalk closure on Campus Way between 26th St. and Memorial Place. The roadway is marked as closed. The south entrance at Kelley Engineering Center is marked as closed. The north sidewalk is marked as closed. The south sidewalk is marked as open.

Bicycle lanes in this section of Campus Way will be closed in both directions. A bicycle detour will be available along the walkway on the south side of Milam Hall.

The west sidewalk will be closed between the crosswalk at Dixon Recreation Center and Washington Way. This closure will take place on Wednesday, March 6 and Thursday, March 7.

Flaggers will be present to direct traffic in both directions around the closure. Drivers should expect delays.

Pedestrians traveling southbound should cross 26th St. at Dixon Recreation Center and use the east sidewalk to continue south. Pedestrians traveling northbound should cross 26th St. at Washington Way and use the east sidewalk to continue north.

Other possible impacts include noise, dust and mud near the worksite.

As part of the Jen-Hsun & Lori Huang Collaborative Innovation Complex project, the Park Terrace St. East and Park Terrace St. West (A2) parking lots will be permanently closed, starting Monday, March 18. The impacted parking lots are located north of Johnson Hall and Plageman Student Health Center.

SW Park Terrace Place will also be permanently closed north of Plageman Student Health Center. Construction fencing will be placed around the area in preparation for further construction activity.
