As part of the Bloss Hall Renovation project, a section of the Bloss Hall South parking lot will be closed starting Tuesday, June 18 through Friday, August 30. The impacted parking spaces are located on the north side of the parking lot. The sidewalk and walkway areas on the west and north sides of Bloss Hall will also be closed.

Due to occupant concerns within Weniger Hall, the June 18 electrical outage has been rescheduled for the week of July 15. The exact date will be communicated when Pacific Power confirms their revised outage date.

As part of the Kelley District Utility Plant project, Johnson Hall will be closed for a planned power outage impacting all floors of the building. This closure will take place on Monday, June 17 from 6 A.M. to 2 P.M. All HVAC equipment will be shut down during this outage. No access to the building will be permitted during this closure.

What do you need to do to prepare for this outage? 
Please make sure that all computers, printers, copiers and other electronic devices are turned off prior to Monday, June 17. If you have an Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS), also known as a battery back-up, please be sure to turn it off as well. 

Employees scheduled to work when buildings are without power should consult with their supervisors regarding work schedules. For more information regarding work scheduling, please refer to the instructions regarding Interruptions of University Operations

As part of the Jen-Hsun Huang and Lori Mills Huang Collaborative Innovation Complex project, a section of the walkway and courtyard area north of Kelly Engineering Center will be closed starting Monday, June 17 through Thursday, August 29. The impacted area is located between Kelley Engineering Center, Plageman Student Health Center and Johnson Hall.

The north entrance of Kelley Engineering Center will remain open.

Other possible impacts include noise near the work site.

As part of the Richardson Hall Controls project, a crane will be working in the Forest Science Lab parking lot on Thursday, June 13 from 8 A.M. to 3 P.M. Ten parking spaces will be closed during this time frame. The west entrance of Richardson Hall will be closed intermittently while the crane is operating.

Other possible impacts include noise near the worksite.

The sidewalk, parking space, alley and parking lot entrance closures around the Pride Center have been extended through Friday, June 14.

Through 6/14: a section of sidewalk on the north side of SW A Ave., directly in front of the Pride Center, will be closed. Pedestrians may use the crosswalk at SW 15th St. and the south sidewalk to detour around the area. (View map)

Through 6/14: the alley behind the Pride Center (SW May Ave.) will be closed along with several parking spaces on the north side of the roadway. Vehicles may enter May Ave. from 15th St. to access the parking lot east of the Pride Center, but no through traffic will be permitted. Vehicles may also enter May Ave. from 17th St. to access the parking lot west of the Pride Center or parking around Cascade Hall, but no through traffic behind the Pride Center will be permitted. Through 6/14: the SW A Ave. entrance to the parking lot west of the Pride Center will be closed. Vehicles may enter the parking lot from the SW 17th St. entrance. The exit lane from the parking lot to A Ave. will remain open.  (View map)

As part of the Withycombe Hall Renovation project, the east sidewalk on SW 30th St. will be closed between SW Campus Way and NW Orchard Ave. starting Monday, June 17 through Friday, August 30.

Pedestrians may use the west sidewalk on 30th St. as a detour.

As part of ongoing construction projects in the north campus area, there will be a planned power outage affecting all floors of Weniger Hall and Plageman Hall on Tuesday, June 18 from 7 A.M. to 3 P.M.  

Four service parking spaces in the Weniger Hall East lot will be closed to allow a trailer-mounted generator to be installed.
