As part of the Washington Way Improvement project, east-west pedestrian access along Washington Way between 17^th & 26^th Streets will be rerouted at the 17^th & 26^th Street intersections. Pedestrians traveling east-west along the north sidewalk will be detoured across Washington Way to an ADA-accessible walkway. The north sidewalk between 17^th & 26^th Streets will be closed starting on 1/23/23 through the duration of this project.

Other possible impacts include noise, dust and mud near the construction site.
