10/16/2020: Crane at Buxton Hall and SW Jefferson Way closure

For work related to the Buxton Hall roof replacement, there will be a crane at Buxton Hall offloading material from the roof. Both lanes of SW Jefferson Way will be closed at the corner of SW Weatherford Place. The south sidewalk will also be closed to pedestrian traffic at this location. SW Weatherford Place between SW Jefferson Way and SW Intramural Lane will also be closed. The closure is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 16, 2020, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

8/14-9/4/2020: Sidewalk closure along SW Jefferson Way

As part of the Buxton Hall Roof Replacement Project, the sidewalk on the south side of SW Jefferson Way from SW Weatherford Place to SW Sackett Place will be closed to support dumpster placement. The closure is scheduled to start on Friday, Aug. 14 through Friday, Sept. 4, 2020.

6/9-6/15/20: LaSells Stewart Center water shutdown and traffic/sidewalk impacts

Update: The sidewalk along SW 26th Street, near the LaSells Stewart Center, will be closed for repair work through the end of the day, Friday, June 19, 2020. Domestic water and fire line work has been completed and the roadway is open.

Domestic water and fire line will be out of service from 7 a.m., Tuesday, June 9 to 5 p.m., Friday, June 12. Water will be turned on sooner if possible.

The sidewalk and roadway will be closed from 7 a.m., Tuesday, June 9 to  5 p.m., Friday, June 12, 2020. Northbound traffic will be shifted around the work. Flaggers may be utilized if necessary.

The sidewalk and roadway will be closed from 7 a.m., Wednesday March 25 to 5 p.m., Sunday, March 29, 2020. Northbound traffic will be shifted around the work. Flaggers may be utilized if necessary.

As part of the LaSells Stewart Center fire line back flow replacement work, a planned sidewalk closure in front of the LaSells Stewart Center along SW 26th Street is scheduled to occur from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Monday, March 9, 2020. Traffic will be shifted around the work area.
